Right in the middle of the town square, so technically very good location (except for noise at night).
You see the lake from the rooms.
Nice interior decoration in the room and hallway.
No "Hotel-Service" at all, they are more concerned with the Café and just sideline checking in guest in the corner of the Café. Standing for minutes at the corner-reception waiting for service, the waitresses/service girls ignore you and don't even notify the receptionist who is apparently also working the bar just one step next to the reception.
Noone at reception after 17:30 and no phones in the rooms. So pray that there is no emergency at night!
They don't even give you water, you have to buy it from the mini fridge for 4.- CHF per 0,5l.
Using the lights in the rooms needs instructions, cause you have to use your key-card. Was not instructed at check-in so I had to go back down and around the building to ask (because no phones in the rooms).
No hint to where to park at arrival, so you have to look for a paid spot somewhere in the village and then walk all the way back to the Hotel and then back to get your car, after they give you the key and directions to the garage.
Paperthin walls, you hear every single word from the next room and from outside (which is right at the town square, so pretty noisy at night. Definitely no stay for relaxing.

Great location right in Menaggio, friendly staff and even have a EV charger in the car park. Must be the best value accommodation in Como. Would definitely recommend

A very beautiful room, exactly as the pictures ! With the greatest location right in the heart of Mennagio.
We picked this fairly costly hotel since it had air condition. But it was NOT working so we spent a night in a very beautiful sauna and had severe difficulties to sleep. When I brought this up with the owner the day after (since we came late and didn’t notice until after the reception was closed) he claimed the air con is working and that I was the problem. No excuse or compensation what so ever.

The location was fantastic in the heart of Menaggio. The building lets out on central square with access to restaurants and cafes
We were a large family of 5 and while the room slept us comfortably there wasn't much extra space to negotiate with bags etc.

The location is amazing ! I wanted to be In he heart of Menaggio and this was the right place! The view around the hotel is fabulous !

The bunk bed was not very safe for the kids and I had to sleep on the top bed just in case

Incredible non sound proof, everything that happens in the room next, below or above you is a part of your stay! I’m aware that living in a hotel often are based on this premises! But this was insane, the walls are made of cardboard... no reception btw you have to go next door!

perfect location, quite fancy room, very lovely balcony with old roofs view, friendly staff. Staff gave us free coffee and croissants for breakfast because we had problems with hot water in our room during our stay

The location is suburb, rooms good, service excellent. We came back a second time within 2 weeks :) We brought our family and the loved it too.
