Whilst there is an elevator, there are a few steps to get inside the property and about 10 steps to get from the elevator to the floor my room was on. This is not uncommon for London and not a deal breaker but worth noting if like me you have heavy, excess luggage and specifically seek out hotels with lifts to avoid having to carry them.

Good selection of cereal, juice, etc. breakfast menus was also well balanced.
Small bedroom had very little storage and one side of the bed was very close to the wall so difficult to access that side of the bed

Not much was wrong. Too many pre stay emails and room heating centrally controlled hadn’t been turned on in my room so it was a little cold but soon resolved

Lovely reception that was festive for Christmas. Great parking and close to train, restaurants and theatre. Nice and clean with a comfortable bed and bedding

Location is good- close to the train station and bus stops. Richmond is a beautiful area and quiet while being just close enough to get to London central.
Check in was easy and the service was good. Excellent restaurant and pubs nearby.
Rooms and shower was a bit small. Didn’t fill up water often and had to ask for toilet paper at one stage.

Very friendly front desk staff (lady, forgetting her name). Clean rooms and bathroom, good location, very comfortable
Elevators were out of order so we had to carry 2 large suitcases up whilst checking in, and had to carry the same down whilst checking out.

Lift was out of order all weekend. I was NOT offered help with my bag either on check in or check out. As I am awaiting a knee replacement, this was very much NOT appreciated, nor was the room on the second floor.

The hotel is in an ideal location It is very well appointed with good quality facilities.

This is our second visit and it just gets better. The staff are so helpful; engaging and predict what their guests need or want. Knowledgeable about local places to eat; about transport etc. helpful with bags; deliveries and taxis. Combined with a central location; fresh clean rooms and great coffee, this is the place to stay

Handsome building with much character - our room was extremely comfortable. Very well appointed with a great bathroom.

Chose the location as you can reach London CBD in 20 minutes by train. First time in London as a tourist. Close to the train station, restaurants, the Thames, Kew botanical gardens and very tourist attractions.
Had a small problem with a parking fine, which was promptly resolved by the staff.

Lovely character hotel, recently refurbished. Very comfortable room. Good breakfast with freshly made to order hot option. Just a short stroll into the town centre. Look forward to our next stay.

Not too concerned with rooms not being adjacent as we were happy to have our room upgraded. Chocolate bars, water and biscuits in the room. Celebrating my daughter's hen night and well looked after.

Modern, styling, clean, comfortable and smelt amazing at the entrance and throughout the hotel. The bathroom had heated floors which was perfect.

The staff were extremely courteous and very helpful. The whole hotel was immaculate and the room was quiet and comfortable.
We would have liked a little more choice on the breakfast menu but what was offered was of excellent quality and delicious.
