Staff were amazing and so hospitable, property and rooms were beautiful, and the food/restaurant was incredible- we chose to eat there for most of our dinners because it was so good! Close to downtown area, just a few minutes walk. The hotel also has complimentary bicycles if you want. Very clean property, and they clean your room everyday. Everything else was great!

Bed was very uncomfortable, felt like a 100 year old mattress with only boards & springs left in it. Otherwise, room was beautiful and everything was superb.

It has a beautiful setting, a great location for breakfast in the garden, a well-appointed room, and great decor.

The room was right on the road, with noisy motorbikes occasionally passing by. The window shutters on the roadside were very hard to access and shut. For the price, the mattress could have been more comfortable, but overall, it was not bad.

Very beautiful hotel, nice room and swimming pool. The restaurant is also very good. But above all, thanks to all the staff for the warm welcome and excellent service during all my stay! It was amazing!

Good choices for breakfast from fresh fruit and yogurt to traditional Lao and omelettes with cereal and breads. Very well stocked bar with numerous quality gins. Excellent and very accommodating staff with good English.

A total experience from the first till the last minute. The staff is very attentive and helpful in a pleasant way. We felt very welcome and loved every second of our stay. Especially Vanh and Dao who went the extra mile.

Loved it all! So much so I stayed an extra night. The massage was so good! Professional and very good service. The Villa Maly team so helpful with assisting me to make tour bookings etc. Excellent service throughout my time there. Food was fresh and good. Easy to walk from the hotel to most things in the town.

Villa Maly is character building with typical polished boards, shutters, ceiling fans, and lazy spaces. It stands in a lovely verdant garden setting, illuminated at night, with a nice bar (great choice of Gins!) opening out to the generous 12 metre pool and a small private restaurant close by. My room was also full of comfort and character, nicely lit, furnished with a generous 4-poster bed and equipped with all the usual amenities, including very efficient A/C. The hotel is well-located in a lovely street, not far from the town centre, night market and riverside. The complimentary bicycles are a great way of touring the town, at higher speed and in a cooling breeze! The staff were a delight - courteous, cheerful, helpful, and responsive. I could not find fault with anything at Vila Maly. I wish I’d stayed longer and definitely plan to return.

10 minutes from night market. Staff were kind and respectful. The waterfalls were impressive, comes with rescue bears and a Butterfly farm, albeit the butterfly farm is closed on Thursday. We went on a Thursday.

It’s a charming hotel. The staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. Lovely ambience and setting for the rooms, especially those facing on to the pool immediately to the rear of the main hotel reception building - formerly a French colonial villa.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. There rooms are tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The bed was great. Breakfast was very good. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. Can absolutely recommend.

Location, free bicycles

Very nice hotel, clean and comfortable and very good service, they make your room twice a day. Free bicycles that we used throughout our stay. Location is good, 10 minutes walk from the bamboo bridge. there's a great and very professional massage centre on the same road, and laundry service on the other side of the road. Breakfast was good (I haven't find memorable breakfasts in Laos). There are mosquito nets!

it felt really luxurious after a few other places we stayed! Nice hot shower, beautiful room and resort, nice breakfast spread, and the bed was the most comfortable we’ve found in Laos!
