Location is favorable, both within the city and a quick 20 min drive to the airport.
Even when it´s located at a centric spot of the city, it is isolated enough to require some in-house ammenities such as restaurant and bar, which it didn't have. Needed to have a quick meeting with my team and there were no business centers either (had to do that on a table outside the closed dinning area). Being an experienced business-traveler, for a business-level hotel such as this one complementary breakfast is key at an early hour (5:00-5:30 am). This hotel started serving breakfast at 7:30 am, I was long gone by the time they started serving. As a construction specialist, I could add that the materials in the finishes are basic to low quality. They were not congruent with the price (based on other hotels I've used in the same price range).

The room was clean and spacious, staff was very friendly, water and coffee were refilled every day. Also, I appreciated the computer chair and the table in the room, so I could work in comfort.
There were no fridge in the room. It was ok for my short stay but for the longer stay I will look for something else.

The hotel is near several of the fanciest shopping malls in Merida, has also a big chain supermarket at walking distance. The staff was really friendly and cooperative. The area felt safe for walking during the day or at night
A little bit far from downtown - my mistake in renting a place far from it. Breakfast was somehow not assorted enough, also 1 day they took the towels but did not replaced them - it was on January 1st, so I am guessing they were short staffed?
