The hosts were very friendly. Our packages did not include breakfast but they offered breakfast everyday anyway. Our flight got cancelled and had to stay at Lijiang one more night. They were very accommodating with our situation. Bonus, their Alaskan Husky puppy was very cute.

The only thing I can think of was TV. Some free simple TV channels offering news and basic entertainment would have been nice. Web tv is bit difficult unless you subscribe.

Set in a beautiful spot in the old town, close to all great cafes. Great host and accommodation. Loved that it had a laundry

Location was great, right inside the ancient town but quiet enough and away from the bustle. Room was comfortable and clean, facilities were great. Best of all, the people in this inn made our time in Lijiang very special and memorable!!! We are so thankful to them- Joye who is so friendly, nice to chat with, who very efficiently arranged all our day trips/ transport in Lijiang Eg. We booked these tours through Joye just one day before going: 1) day tour for Jade snow mountain + Yak Meadow + Blue Moon Valley + Impressions Lijiang 2) 2d1n trip to Lugu lake Joye also helped to arrange the bus to and fro our hike at Tiger Leaping Gorge. Our trip in Lijiang was such a breeze thanks to him!! Brother Xue Ping who took very good care of us. We had the delight of trying his home cooked dinners, and were grateful for the very thoughtful breakfast sets he prepares for guests(sandwiches, tea leaf eggs, oranges etc) whenever we set off early for our tours. All the staff here are attentive, friendly and amazing! We also loved the resident husky of the inn - Happy, who is simply adorable! Xilu Inn felt like our home in Lijiang thanks to the people here. Will stay here again when we are back!!!

Joye vous donne toutes les informations souhaitées, vous aide dans l'organisation des activités et la planification de vos transferts. Le petit déjeuner, local, est très bon. Je recommande vivement cette adresse.

Right in the Lijiang Ancient Town so walking around was really convenient. The host and workers were extremely hospitable and helpful with arranging pick ups, and bus tickets. Breakfast was also provided with generous servings. Would recommend if you are in Lijiang and want to base your stay in the ancient town.

The owner spoke excellent English and offered taxi services to and from the train station for a fee. The also provided a complimentary carriage service for transporting luggage to and from the hotel and the Old Town gate. Additionally, you can book a tour to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain through them. The room was comfy. The location was perfect. And breakfast exceeded most of those we paid for in Lijiang Old Town.

Everyone was super kind, friendly and helpful! A big shoutout to Joye, Zhang ge and Xiao Xu for their exceptional service and help - from accommodating our last minute changes, helping us with our itinerary, to preparing breakfast for us and walking us to the right places for our day tours. I couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you for going above and beyond, for taking such good care of us and for making our Lijiang experience so memorable :)

Fantastische ligging in the old city, mooie kamer (klein, maar fijn), goed sanitair, de gemoedelijke sfeer, enorm aardige en hulpvaardige benadering. Joye spreekt perfect Engels informeert je over wat er is te doen in de omgeving en regelt het voor je. Ik kan Xilu Xiaoxie Inn van harte aanbevelen!

Het enige is, dat er wat weinig ruimte is voor twee grote koffers (maar dat is echt een onbelangrijk detail).

Breakfast served outdoor in the open courtyard, on one small table for all the guests. The ladies who took care of the breakfast made a miracle considering their small and challenging space to prepare the breakfast.

This is a lovely family-owned hotel. Located in Lijiang old town beside one of the main streets. The hotel itself is built in the traditional Yunnan style. The bedrooms are very comfortable. Everything is very clean. My two friends and I were were all upgraded to a better room. The breakfast was a choice of noodles or bread with Chinese tea. I didn't have the noodles but the bread was a sort of french toast and came with a fried egg and a little salad. It was delish and I ate that every morning. The young lady who runs the hotel with her parents was very helpful and she helped out my friend when she needed to change her flight. The hotel will organise a taxi to the airport, if needed, for only 80 RMB. We could not speak any Chinese but they made a great effort to help us, using a translator. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

In the center of the old Town, a very beautiful and traditional building, very calm and cosy! Huge rooms, and a very very nice and helpful team (perfectly english speaking!) We enjoyed the three nights very much! Helpful with booking bus tickets for Yangtze tigerleapinggorge trip. 100% recommandation !

Everything was perfect!

Joey and Joy with crew are the best hosts you can find. Caring, including, welcoming and correct. It's like coming home. Cozy place. 2min walk from where it all happens. This keeps it quiet but in the middle of it. Will certainly stay here when ever I go to Lijiang. Could not be more satisfied.

I need to be very picky to find anything negative. Maybe the the automatic toilet with a heated seat. It was a bit noisy. And I did not understand how the TV worked. Was not there to watch TV though but I'm addicted to news.

The hotel is small but cute. The most impressed when i was lijiang was hosted reception of the staff. His name is john. He is elderly but takes care very well. He helped me with all my requests. If you can't speak Chinese, don't be shy. He speaks English extremely well. If everyone has to go to Lijiang, choose this hotel.

I loved the wonderful owners of the inn. They were truly kind and thoughtful. I can't wait to go back.

I loved everything

This is a charming guest house in a quiet lane of the old town. What makes it exceptional is the care and support provided by Ms Cici and her family. They gave me a warm welcome and helped me to find my way around as well as to do mundane things like washing clothes. One afternoon when I came back to my room they brought me tea and chocolate cake. in addition, the rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated in a traditional style. I highly recommend this guest house.

I had an amazing time during my stay here! The location was prime and I loved how hopeful the staff was in helping us plan our trip. I traveled with my dad, sister, and grandma - the staff was so friendly in the accommodations and recommending activities that were family friendly. There's also a cute dog onsite!! Definitely recommend this place and would def come again 😊
