Andara is a beautiful resort with outstanding service from the staff. The breakfast is great with a full menu and buffet, daily fresh juices and anything made to order. While close to the water, the nicer part of the beach with beach cafes is a drive away - the free car service to the beach (on demand) is awesome. We had a two bedroom villa with pool and it was huge and beautiful, and serviced twice daily. The private pool is a good size and lovely to lounge around. Staff were so considerate - even taking the initiative to make up a lovely little toddler bed for us after we attempted.

Nothing, everything was wonderful.

All the staff were friendly and kind. We enjoyed the stay without any stress or discomfort. Food served by restaurant was good. In addition, there was no extra charge for room service. Same menu with same price as restaurant.

A closet door in main bed room was left broken. So, we used the closet with its door opened all the time.

The location is excellent. It locates on the hill overlooking Kamala Beach but just a couple of minutes away is the town and beach. The Villa has 24 hours butlers in residence to take care of everything as needed. And also has private chef with excellent cooking skills to cook to your liking!

stunned by the size and beach view of the room. very comfy mattress and pillows, and the private jacuzzi. within walking distance,10-15min, to main streets with lots of message shops and restaurants. very good breakfast provided

risky and stairs up to the jacuzzi at the rooftop. no hot water at the bathroom of the last suite. rotten fruits placed in the living room ( is it for display only?). no creamer provided for coffees

Spacious apartments, peaceful location in Kamala

The apartments need better maintenance. The entire power of our 2 bedroom apartment went off a few times during our 6 nights stay and there was a foul smell in one of the bathrooms. Staff is kind and courteous for most parts but needs to be better trained for a 5 star property.

we LOVED everything about the hotel! The 2 bedroom pool suite was very spacious! it had a huge living room, huge kitchen that is fully equipped .The 2 bedrooms were ensuite plus an extra bathroom. SILK restaurant was amazing! the thai food was exceptional , we tried the red curry with crab, fish cooked jn banana leaf , pad thai, papaya salad, pomelo salad, mango salad everything was delicious! The spa is a must try! You could feel the hotel has an authentic thai feel. Chompu from reception was very helpful, Pat at the restaurant was great and helpful. Will definitely come back ! Nice views, welcoming staff, and comfortable accommodation

The resort was a bit far from other tourist attractions (mall, restaurants, old town, water park, ..etc) as the usual road to these attractions was closed due to a major mudslide. another alternative to stay at is the northern part of Karon beach. two major drawbacks of the resort: - very limited breakfast buffet. - you can’t go anywhere without a golf cart.. as the resort is built on a hill.

the rooms and facilities were excellent. the attention to detail from all of the staff and in particular the manager Daniel.
