Central Hotel was very good value for money. We had a spacious room, well-fitted bathroom and comfy beds. The fridge and microwave are great additions. Everything was very clean. Parking is at the nearby multi storey, accessible via the shopping centre opposite the hotel. This was easy. The location is within easy walking distance of the cathedral (well worth a visit) and quayside, with many restaurants and a cinema. Staff were all pleasant and helpful.

The hotel's location is very central and we did experience some street noise, especially with our stay being on a Friday. So if you're staying on a busy night and are a light sleeper, then earplugs would be useful. However, that being said, the location is also within easy walking distance of the cathedral and quayside area - with a great selection of restaurants and a cinema.

Great location, friendly staff and clean. A bit dated, but it done the job. We stayed as a group of friends, they all felt the same too. Rooms were nice and spacious too

Just a bit dated. Some suspicious marks on the walls but nothing major.

Good Central location, easy walking distance from station and to town centre. Rooms contain a fridge, microwave and kettle, which is great if you don't want to go out in the evening to eat (ie. after work). Frendly reception who I guess could offer advice on anywhere locally to visit etc. Have stayed there several times... work, for the above reasons
