Nice cozy room and friendly staff. Will recommend staying here.

Spencer runs a wonderful bed and breakfast. He was friendly and helpful. My wife and I enjoyed the cooked to order breakfast. The building is located only a short walk from a bunch of restaurants and bars in the Victorian docks area. The cathedral was also easy to walk to, although a bit further. We would certainly stay again.

The beds were a little soft for my taste, but that is a personal preference. The water pressure was also a little low while we were there. I think that's fine.

The top floor room was clean and quaint in character with an old style ensuite bathroom and excellent bath. Everything was welcoming and the host was friendly, very helpful and provided an exceptional, made to order breakfast. An excellent location close to shops and quay.

The bed clothes, although clean, did seem a little worn and new ones may help to update the place.

It wasn't clear whether they did a breakfast, it stated "Breakfast not included" so I assumed there was no breakfast option so I brought my own breakfast with me, but on arrival I found they did do breakfasts at extra cost, if you order by 9pm on check in day. I would have ordered a breakfast if I had known in advance and wouldn't have had to bring my own.
