The cottage was very cosy and quiet, exactly what we needed. We didn't see the owner, but she was helpful and got in touch with her, and the instructions to get it were easy to follow.

Especially well-equipped and attractive cottage positioned in a delightful area

The area around, the house and how it was organised for the guests, all was at the top.

Most attractions for kids were closed in the period we travelled. Mostly rainy, grey days... Middle January not the best period to visit the area (that's why it was cheap I suppose..)

The cottage was in a beautiful location and within easy driving, cycling distance of many historic attractions. Excellent for tram lovers as it's right across the road from the tram museum. Great for families with young children. Very clean and all the facilities you would need for a great holiday. An ideal base for touring from especially great area for cyclists. Pubs and local shop nearby. Dorothy, the owner, was wonderfully informative and helpful. We would definitely consider staying here again. It would probably be quite cosy in the Winter too as it's a real cottage!!

The beds were soft but that's a matter of choice. That is the only dislike.

Easy to find and handy having a key safe to get in. Nice location and enjoyed watching the sheep and walks from the house. Owners helpful and friendly
