Gorgeous lakefront home close to Burlington!
Bella casa sul lago sullo splendido lago Iroquois! Goditi 75 metri di litorale e attività lacustri durante tutto l'anno in questo appartamento ben arredato e ben arredato con 2 camere da letto e 1 bagno di 1/2 casa. Questa casa unica ha finiture di alto livello, pavimenti in legno e ardesia in tutto, e ampie viste sul lago. Entra nella grande sala relax e sei subito a casa. Una cucina completa e sala da pranzo rendono i pasti in cucina e divertente facile. L'intero livello superiore della casa è dedicato a una straordinaria suite padronale che ha il proprio balcone sospeso sopra l'acqua per la lettura e il relax. La master suite dispone anche di un bagno di grandi dimensioni con pavimenti in ardesia, doccia piastrellata e vasca idromassaggio. La seconda camera da letto è al livello principale e ha un letto queen size con un mezzo bagno direttamente dall'altra parte del corridoio. Goditi il kayak, la canoa e altri sport acquatici. Questa casa è un ottimo rifugio per tutte le stagioni e si trova in una posizione perfetta per raggiungere facilmente il centro di Burlington, Stowe, escursioni, sci, ciclismo, shopping e ottimi ristoranti!

We liked the location of the house, the furnishings and the great view from the upstairs bedroom. We didn't like the bedroom on the first floor, which is quite dark and somewhat reminiscent of a cellar room. I would have liked the house to be in a better condition. Both the bathrooms and the kitchen area (sink, kitchen utensils) were not clean.

Beautiful cottage and great quiet location. House is very clean and comfortable. A well equipt grocery store 5 minutes away. A short drive to Burlington and other beautiful attractions. A great place to stay

The house was perfect for our family and pet. All the amenities of our own home with an unbelievable location on the lake. Swimming, kayaking, canoeing, and fishing were all part of our time at the home. It was the perfect place for our busy family to spend time together to reconnect.

A beautifully crafted and comfortable cottage-like house that truly is a quiet retreat. No matter the season, the charm of this setting is undeniable. After the first night, this vaulted into one of the top two places we have ever stayed on VRBO/HomeAway over the years. You will not be disappointed by either the accommodations or the incredible host. We hope to have the good fortune to return.

This is the 2nd stay for my husband and I (and our dog Austin) and it was just as wonderful as the first. The house is SO lovely! It’s perfectly decorated and comfortable in every room and very clean! The owner Sarah- communicated all needed info in a timely manner and checked in with us to make sure we were settled and didn’t need anything. Overall- another great stay and we can’t wait to do it again next year!

We attended a family wedding in the area and this cottage was a great place to stay! Very close to restaurants and venues in Burlington and other towns. My favorite part was enjoying morning coffee on the patio, deck or in front of one of the many big picture windows, gazing at the lake. We didn’t have the time but would have loved to have kayaked on the lake.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Please note that the stairs are narrow and open and not easily navigated by our small dog (we carried her).

This Lakeside home was as comfortable as it was charming. The setting of the house is such that you feel a complete sense of privacy. The kayaks are in good condition and my husband and I swam and kayaked almost every day. Oh, and the bathtub - I don't even like to take baths, but I did so here!
The only advice we would have for those considering staying here, is that the stairs to the master bedroom are narrow and steep. That said, I like to imbibe and can trip while standing, and it didn't stop me:) The entry to the lake at this cove is nice and shallow - be prepared for a few weeds to begin with, if you like to swim, but a few strokes and it's all good.
All said and done, if you seek peace and quiet on a lovely lake with very little boat traffic, you're sure to enjoy staying here.
Given the opportunity, we would absolutely love to stay here again!

We wanted a rental house right on the lake to visit Burlington. I think it ended up being better than being right on Lake Champlain - quiet, peaceful, great views of the lake, short distance to swimming beach on Lake Iroquois. House has kayaks and canoes for use, which were great. Clean, good amenities. We were able to get into Burlington in about 25 minutes. Good restaurants closer to the house in Williston or Richmond.

If anything, this place was even better in person than the photos showed. The view was amazing. A lovely, quiet place on the lake, it was great to get away, but close enough to Burlington and Waterbury for more things to do, like Ben & Jerry's and the Cider Mill. The Property Manager, Sarah, was very communicative prior to the trip, and she checked in during the trip to see how we were doing and to offer recommendations. While we didn't have any issues during our stay, I feel she would have been helpful had anything happened. And it was nice to look at the stars through the skylight on a super comfortable bed.

The entire experience was amazing! Property manager- Sarah, communicated often enough to provide details for the house and our stay, but gave us our privacy as well, which was exactly what we wanted/needed from our time here.
The house was beautiful and well maintained and perfectly appointed. Plus it was super clean and toasty warm upon arrival (October can be chilly). Overall- fantastic experience and we hope to stay here again!

This property is perfect. I wish we could have stayed longer. Everything was exactly as described and the location is amazing. Sarah, the host, was great, not that we had any complaints to talk to her about. We went into Burlington one day and went hiking another. We hope to be back soon.

Couldn’t have had a better location for driving around to see the beautiful fall foliage in Vermont. Very conveniently located close to Burlington but the town of Hinesburg had everything we needed. Some of the best views were right out the backdoor with a view of the lake. Would definitely recommend this unique home. Sarah does a wonderful job making this rental accommodating to the renters.

This was our second stay at this charming cottage and hopefully it won’t be our last. The cottage is directly on beautiful Lake Iroquois. The lake is very clean and perfect for swimming and kayaking. There are beautiful views of the lake from every room. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable as well as all the seating. The area has some very nice restaurants and easy access to Burlington. Sarah was very kind and helpful. We are looking forward to our next visit.

The property is beautiful, literally right on the lake, on a wooded, private road. The house itself is well maintained and welcoming. It had everything a family would need when away from home. Everything was clean and well cared for and the owner was gracious, helpful, and very responsive. She provided a great deal of information of local amenities. Property is centrally located, close to skiing (Bolton valley), as well as proximity to Burlington. We will definitely comeback and recommend this lake house. Excellent experience.

This was a little slice of heaven. The house was immaculate, and was equipped with everything we needed to cook. My bedroom perch, looking out over the water, is where I spent much of my time reading. Beds were very comfortable. Thank you Sarah for sharing your wonderful little abode with us.

We had wonderful week in this beautifully maintained property. It is conveniently located to many hiking points, supermarket, Burlington, ferry to NY, etc. It's very quiet and relaxing on the lake. Wonderful experience all around!

Smart, sleek design that is also warm and cozy. Clean and comfortable with thoughtful touches. We stayed with our little kids and everyone had a great time! The lake is perfect for swimming and kayaking. The kitchen is very well stocked and doing dishes is a pleasure given the view!

The house is lovely and comfy and right on the lake. At times there were people out fishing or water-skiing, at other times we had the whole lake to ourselves to kayak or swim.

Our family loved staying at this lake front property. The house is literally on top of the lake, the views from every room and porch are fantastic. It’s location is close by small towns and Burlington, is perfect.
The house is very clean, well furnished and equipped. We did a little bit of cooking, the kitchen was easy to navigate. The owner had all the things you may need; toilet paper, paper towels, spices, fans, appliances, towels.
The steps in around the house, I could imagine to being difficult for some. My 3 year old did fine, our one year old needed supervision but was okay navigating the steps. The house is the perfect size for a small family or two couples.
The owner was so kind. We met the neighbors too, everyone was so friendly. The immediate neighbors let our boys use their “beach” for easy like access which was so kind.
Highly recommend this property. We hope to return again.

We reserved Sarah's gorgeous lakeside home for an extended weekend away to celebrate my wife's birthday. We couldn't have been more satisfied with our stay! The location cannot be beat - a short drive to Burlington and Shelburne, and there's nothing like waking up each morning lakeside. Very serene.
Sarah made the check-in process very easy and the house was in impeccable shape. We will be back!

The house was cozy and well appointed. The owner Sarah was very helpful and friendly and the region charming. We had some great meals, good hikes and skiing while thoroughly relaxing. An excellent trip. I would highly recommend it!

This was a perfect place to enjoy Fall colors. A cozy cottage tucked away on the edge of Lake Iroquois with beautiful views right from the comfy chairs beside the window! Great hikes close by, Burlington and Shelburne within easy reach and plenty of dining options for the evening. All the ingredients for a wonderful getaway! Thank you Sarah!

My husband and I enjoyed 4 days/nights at Sarah's house during leaf peeping season. The weather didn't fully cooperate, however, we were still able to get in one kayak trip, a hike at Philo Mountain and rode part of the Island Rail Trail. We also were able to have a fire outside as well as inside on one particularly chilly night. We took a gondola ride at Killington after taking Route 100 (very beautiful!) in order to stopat the Moss Glen Falls in Granville (and bought some maple syrup from a sweet couple who had set up a tent - "Mom and Pop's World's Best Vermont Maple Syrup"). Got a great burger from the Paisley Hippo on the way home in addition to trying some local wine from 116 Wine and Spirits: "Marquette" from Lincoln Peak Vineyard. The house was clean and very comfortable. Lots of windows to take in the beautiful view of the lake. Sarah was very easy to communicate with and gave us recommendations for things in the area. We would definitely recommend!

This is a very cool property on a beautiful lake. It is very close to several golf courses and less than 30 minutes from Burlington. As the pictures show, it is extremely close to the water. The upper enclosed deck catches the afternoon sun, perfect for fall. The owner makes everything easy. Vermont is a great place to vacation!
