The location is absolutely perfect right near Shibuya station, you can get to all central Tokyo spots within 30 mins of walking or subway. The price was great considering the location and the rooms were comfortable. They were on the smaller side but that’s to be expected in Tokyo! The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel itself is very quirky.

In a sustainably conscious world, we put off our room cleaning and amenities resupply a few days by using the do not disturb sign or telling reception. But each time we came back there were fresh towels and resupply of everything outside our door. It sounds silly to moan about this but we were trying to be sustainable and it felt excessive.

I liked the location and the rooms were clean. Shower was very hot and very powerful. The Room was immaculate.

I wasn't a fan of the air conditioning unit. Very weak and the room was a bit stuffy as a result. Best bet is leaving it on all day and then it should be ok.

Hotel is really pretty and staff speaks english really well which is rare in japan. Room is really nice

Getting to the hotel from shibuya takes some getting used to, since simply crossing the road there can be a nightmare. No way to do laundry (except really pricy laundry service) and the closest laundromat is difficult to get to

Super super friendly staff - they made us feel so welcome and were so attentive! The location is really good, just about 5 mins walk from Shibuya station. The rooms are (as expected in Tokyo) quite small, but had everything we were looking for.

We were asking if it was ok to checkout 30mins later - for that a 1400 yen fee would apply, which I find very expensive. Maybe its the typical Japanese way but I'm used to a little bit more flexibility and goodwill

Excellent location and friendly staff. Very clean and the fruit tea in my room was lovely.

My room was a little warm even with the coldest A/C setting.

everything! the location is fantastic, in the center of Shibuya. the hotel doesn’t look like a typical-cold hotel but it has its style and personality, very cozy! and the service is extremely friendly, always wanting to help!!!

Room decor is dated, carpets were stained, an old-style look that could be changed up.

The room looks so good. It was clean. Amenities complete. They even provide for coffee/tea/water.

10 minutes walking distance to Shinbuya crossings and metro stations

most staff are rude, May be because they are mostly old people who can't speak English! Extremely tiny room and bathroom. must ask for a bottle of water each day at the reception. The hotel charges me ¥5,000 for storing one luggage for 48 hours while I go to Mt Fuji.

The location was great. The staff were extremely friendly and spoke English well enough.

The rooms were a little small and cramped. Laundry at the hotel was also very expensive ($4-5 USD per item)

It has a lot of convenient stores around, and less than 5 minutes walk to shibuya station, really close to hachiko memorial statue.

I loved the entrance to the hotel. A bit old school with all the furniture and a very warm Christmas feeling. Staff spoke excellent easy and were very accommodating. Room was very quiet ( I am a light sleeper) and I was put under my request in a far away room with no noise. The room was also clean and tidy, the mattress hard (exactly as I like it) and there was also a desk. Location is very central although you have to go up and down a bridge if you are coming from the Shibuya central gate.

Everything was very clean and the atmosphere was cozy and nice. It was very easy to get around to different areas from the htoel since it was so close to Shibuya station, which was great!

I really loved the aesthetic of the hotel and the staff were nice. The room was spacious compared to other hotels in the area too, and the location was fantastic. It’s not too far from Shibuya station and there are some lovely restaurants not too far away either. The price of the room stay was very good value for money too!

Unfortunately the room we stayed in (620) seemed to have air conditioning that wasn’t working very well. we dropped it down to 18 degrees since I’m pregnant with twins at 34 weeks and sweat like crazy but it felt incredibly hot in the room still and even my husband thought the room was too hot. If possible, it would be much easier to enter the property if there was either a wheelchair ramp or handrails to help people with mobility issues. I had to hold my husbands hand to walk up the stairs most of the time. Also, as a personal preference I prefer bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body soap rather than little sachets, I find I just don’t have enough soap for my body otherwise..
