Comfortable cottage with all the amenities you would need. Close to the beach. Nice combustion fireplace.

Cleanliness could be improved. The bath tub was removed, but understood from a water crisis perspective. Minimal shade by the outside eating area. Would be great to have an umbrella.

The cottage has everything you need. It is home away from your home. Very neat and clean.

Comfortable beds, fairly well equipped kitchen, spacious living and braai areas. Proximity to the beach. Free wifi was great too. The place was well equipped to cope with load shedding.

The photo on the Booking.com website does not depuct the actual accommodation. It shows a cottage we had rented previously. We were under the impression we were going to be in single level accommodation. The stairs were difficult as I am recovering from foot surgery and we had a child with us. The bath towels were skimpy - bath sheets would have been a little extra luxurious touch and would have made a difference. Also wasn't keen on the bathtub in the bedroom, just a personal preference. Also, we struggled to figure out how the oven worked as we were unfamiliar with the stove. Some instructions would have been appreciated.

Communication was good and being met at the cottage with keys was very convenient. Cottage was a good size for 4 pax and the complimentary wood was a bonus as it rained and we used the fireplace. Lots of towels and blankets. Beds were very comfy and we loved the smart TV.

Not enough mugs nor cutlery. Need at least 8 of everything otherwise you have to wash before every cup of tea and/or meal. If weather is not great and you stay indoors this becomes an issue. Would have loved table mats or a table cloth.

The area is fantastic. People are interesting. Seafood is delicious.

Location is a distance from the beach and the central area which has many of the restaurants.

A bit removed from center of village. Also - No recycling facilities. Cottage should provide separate clear bags for recycling and make arrangements for collection of recycling.

The Interior was clean and fairly comfortable. Location good.

Patio area was covered in leaves and overgrown. The table needed maintenance as it was broken and the outdoor lounger wasn't in a good state either and we didn't find out until after we had booked that there was building work ongoing to the property opposite which created noise and dust.
