Locatie is prachtig. Kamers zijn ruim, voorzien van alle gemakken en schoon. Ontbijt en diner uitstekend en personeel super vriendelijk, behulpzaam en vakkundig.

Holland House is right in the center of town. It has the beach right out back. You can access buses and taxis without any issue. The staff are absolutely wonderful and extremely helpful. We have been staying here for a number of years now because of the staff.
The rules changed around Service charge you will see on your restaurant or bar bill. We did not learn this until our last day and were horrified to find out it did not go to the servers. We always tip up in addition to the Service charge, but as an addition not as their ONLY tip. What are we being charged for if the Service charge is not going to the wait staff???? This practice needs to stop.

The hotel is next to the beach (excellent location), the hotel staff were very friendly, the general cleanliness was very good,
the area was very safe and quiet.
What I liked least was the restaurant menu, because it was the same every day, although the food was very good and the presentation was very nice, I think they should have several options for different days.

Everything about this property is great. It is close to shopping on Front Street and located along the boardwalk. There are food options along the boardwalk as well. The restaurant here is also very good but their bartender, Harber, is the best. Overall, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Please note that this hotel is in a shopping area so it gets really quiet once everything closes—it’s not in a lively neighborhood.

Location combining town and beachfront. Staff was great very friendly. Excellent menu and tasty food.
During the night surrounding area is very quiet. Bustling during the day but during the night the opposite. Towel service for the beach stops at 4pm seemed a bit early.

Amazing staff. Alberto and team gave a great amount of conversation and support. And i can’t imagine my stay without the “concierge” service of Luisianna Martha. Oh my goodness, anything that i needed to find our help with she would literally figure out a way to make it happen and remove stress for me. I traveled here as a referral from a very close friend. I needed a wellness retreat to center and reset myself. I chose this location after the referral and some research so that I could know what to expect. After getting there, i realized that the pictures did not do it justice. It is beautifully located. You can even enjoy when the cruise ships come in. For my wellness I wanted a massage, pedicure, and manicure. Luisianna arranged it for me to get a massage every day with a day of manicure and pedicure in addition. I didn’t have cash for tips, she found a stress free way to make it happen. Nothing seemed shady or inappropriate, just a fantastic experience. Due to her, I would absolutely visit here multiple times against my normal routine because she and the team made miracles happen.
There was no exercise or dedicated person to help with things to do (if Luisianna was not there).

The rooms were very modern and well appointed. I liked the high end electrical/lighting and the upgraded baths.
The hotel absolutely refused to allow guests to check in early or depart even 30 minutes late. They WILL check your luggage but that inflexible policy is frustrating to those with early flight/cruise arrivals. Esp when rooms WERE available.

Room was immaculate and very comfortable. Housekeepers were wonderful. Evening dinner was excellent. Some servers really were great. Loved LaToya.
Poor access to handrails for disabled guests on the beach side. Elevator very small. Some of the servers seemed very inexperienced and slow.

View from room was not as advertised. Ocean view was blocked by the building next door; reception said everyone knows to ask for rooms further down the hall but I had no idea and the room could not be changed. There ought to be a different price for "partial ocean view".

Woken up at 3.30 am. Something had bitten me. Felt it crawling. Told reception in the morning. The nightshift reception was understanding. But the morning staff completely disregarded my complaint!!She declared that it must be an allergy!!
I know I was bitten. Felt the insect, possibly a spider crawling. I repeatedly brushed it vigorously. Searched for it in the bed and underneath but to no avail. We have stayed there in the past on a number of occasions but I'm afraid will not anymore.

Location. The hotel is located in the Philipsburg area, where you will find a lot of places to buy jewelry, sunglasses, duty-free gifts, etc. Also, you will find some restaurants and bars, but please take into consideration that most of the places close around 6-7 pm, so if you don't rent a car to move around the island, it will be difficult to find another place to eat rather than the hotel restaurant. This is an excellent location if you're looking for a nice rest vacation.
Hotel. As soon as you arrive at the hotel you will be received by a very friendly receptionist that will help you with all the doubts you have. Check-In will take no more than 5 minutes and you will be able to go to your room to rest after that long trip. The air conditioning will be on so you will feel at home after the hot weather out there. The bathroom is nice, I like a lot the shower that was in my room! If you paid extra, you will be able to have an amazing view of Philipsburg bay that is amazing at sunset. Room cleaning happens in the morning when you are taking the included breakfast, so your room will be ready when you return from that amazing meal.
Restaurant. The food is amazing! I enjoyed eating breakfast every day there. At breakfast, you will have 7 options to choose from, already included in the price, and also you will have a lot of options available for your choice at extra cost, but it is worth it. We also have dinner for 1 day there and we loved the food, just expect to pay more than USD 100. Believe me when I say that this is the best restaurant on the south side of St. Maarten.
Hotel. This is a non-pool place (I saw that many hotels there does not have any pool), so if you have kids, please consider this.
Parking. Parking is available for all guests at an extra cost (I think it was USD 15 per day).

The wifi service was slow but average.
The wait staff and support staff were excellent!!!
The room size was a bit small, and the bathroom stall was too small not offering full ventilation,
The floor was tile and the water shower was going all of the floor and bathroom. But the staff cleaned up the water mess with great ease.
Love the outdoor patio and the bartenders. The beach access was phenomenal! We loved the experience and with the discounts provided by Booking would stay there again!
