Phil was an amazing host, he even collected all of us from the bus station and dropped some at house and others at car rental location! He even dropped us as restaurants, he really made us feel so welcome.

An amazing stay Phil's place. We will happily stay here again. Perfect location in the heart of Echoland. Pet friendly. Great price. Rooms were spacious and the kitchen and living room were both for hanging out. TV is 4k and super nice with a bunch of features like YouTube and JoySound. Phil was an awesome host and communicated well.

Phil forgot about our visit, but was still super accommodating about it and got the cleaners to come right away. There's only 2 toilets, which can be a bit crowded in the mornings.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The home was a very comfortable western style home, very tastefully decorated with Japanese art. The beds were comfortable and the rooms looked nice. I appreciated that there were nightstands and hooks in each room. There was plenty of space for 10 people and enough room at the table. The house was very well stocked with most of our needs anticipated. We enjoyed the porch out front. The location is great with lots of restaurants to walk to.

The main room upstairs smelled of mothballs but it was not as bad when the windows were open and the fan was running. The kitchen was well stocked with exception to silverware. We did find a few dishes that had been put back with food stuck to them. There is not a/c but we were lucky to have been there on overcast days. My biggest complaint is with booking.com. It seems strange to me that they give my credit card info to the owner to run. The owner was good about working through payment issues but I would have preferred to have my credit card not passed on.

We liked everything about the property and the location and it easily handled our party of ten. The house is newly renovated and well appointed with a modern kitchen opening onto a large family room with a smart TV. The family room has a large leather couch and bean bags. The bedrooms are well furnished with comfortable beds and heaters. We were able to specify in advance the breakdown of single and queen beds. The house is only a few minutes walk from the main Echoland strip and the shuttle bus to the slopes. Phil, the owner, was extremely attentive. He booked restaurants for us and took our party on trips to the shops and onsen. When one of our party was injured Phil dropped everything and came to the mountain and conveyed us to the medical clinic. He insisted on staying with us to drive us to an emergency department if required (fortunately not). He then checked in on our friend the following day. Highly recommend Phil and Harmony House.
