No Hot water. Not Clean, Booking.com picture very butifull.but actual room Bad. Not same rooms. Bad experience.Not recommend. Don't go. also Drunken Local people at hotel. Very Dengers.

We were welcomed at the property by Mr Paul who made us a refreshing fruit juice. We were happy with our room, which was spacious with a balcony and view. The bed was comfortable and the shower pressure was particularly good with hot water. Mr Paul often wanted to know our plans so that he could give us advice, which was helpful. The property was a good location, you could take a shortcut down some steps to get to the main road, where a bus to Kandy city centre took 5/10 minutes. We also walked this a couple of times and it only took 25 minutes. Mr Paul made us a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast each morning at a time that suited us. There was also a refillable drinking water station we could use. The accommodation was basic and not immaculate, but just what we needed as we were out exploring the city most of the time.

It was a present stay. Rooms have considerable amount of space and has nice mountain views. Staff was very friendly, specially Mr. Paul. You can always ask for assistance from the staff and they are ready to provide what you need. Very close to Kandy City Center and all attractions in the city.

The place was amazing and super quiet, and the views are okay. I want to say a big thanks to Mr. Paul; he is very generous and helpful for us; he cooked whatever food we asked for; my wife was pregnant; and he just gave some super helpful, positive words for her. It makes me really happy.

Pricy for this location. It is 3km from the city centre, on the hill. Nowhere to eat around the place, the grocery store also a bit far. Still you can use a tuktuk/delivery. Not possible to cook, just to order food. It wasn't good for me, as i went out early. Also bad loundry. Roaches and bugs in the room...

I found the room beautiful and comfy, the food delicious and healthy, the showers hot, and the manager, Paul, such a positive person who does an excellent job at taking care of the guests!
Nothing, Kandyan Hideout in every way is a terrific place to stay!

Loved everything about the place, the host (Mr. Paul) was an absolute gem of a gentleman, the tea and coffee was perfect. The location was perfect, not too close and not too far from the city.

It’s a real hideout in Kandy. Not really far from city center (but it’s the best match if you driving bike). But situated in such a calm area with a breathtaking views.
Stuff is really welcoming, attentive and helpful.
