The position is perfect. The staff was friendly and they provided helpful advices. Also, the bicycles they offered helped a lot when during our vacation.

The spaces in the female bathroom were not big enough, so I have to wait for a long time while others were doing their makeup. I also hope the toilets could be separate for men and women because that would be much less awkward.

Could put the hot water upstairs and the cold water dispenser doesn’t work very well. Also could have a sign asking guests to be quiet after 10pm as the walls very thin.

Good location, very close to the train station. Convenience store right around the corner. The shared bathroom facilities were nice and clean - all sorts of cleansing products available. We used the washer/dryer, all went well.

Room is spacious with a seating area and enough space for two beds. Even though it's Japanse style, the beds were very soft and comfy.

We had a very uncomfortable stay and decided to leave after one night (instead of two). Room had a very weird smell, opening the window did not help. The walls are very thin, we could hear everyone talk and walk around. There was noise until midnight and starting again from 5:30 in the morning. Maybe we had bad luck with the neighbours, but we were really unhappy with the short night.

The staff's English was super good, easy communication.

It is very convenient as it is only walking distance from kawaguchiko station, they have also rental bike which is discounted for the guests. All rooms are clean and really comfortable futon is provided even though it is shared bathroom all are clean.

Best location, so close to the train station and easy access to cafes, restaurants, and the lake. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The shared bathroom facilities were really good and super clean. Heaps of bikes to rent and a great stay :)

Clean place, friendly staff, big room, bike rental with a small discount for guests.

It has everything for a short stay (we stayed 1 night). Room itself is big, but a bit 'bare'. All facilities (e.g. toilets, showers) are shared, which is normal in a guesthouse but I personally wouldn't want to stay for a longer period.

Excellent, friendly, helpful staff with great English. Clean basic room, no problem with shared facilities, brilliant showers. Excellent location for all the sights. Rented e bikes from guesthouse- brilliant quality bikes easy and fun way to see the sights. Exceeded expectations.

Futon beds not the most comfortable nights sleep, but this was expected in traditional room and especially for the price.

We really liked the style of the room. You can have free coffee any time (there is also a microwave downstairs). The shower had great pressure and was super warm. The heater (aircon with heating function) worked perfectly and the whole house was warm and cozy.

Unfortunately the water in the sink was quite cold.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were not expecting any breakfast based on the info on their official website, but we did get some very basic for free. The website also said no free towels, but there were towels ready in the room. Nice bathrooms. There were a lot of amenities both in the room, bathroom and common area. All you need actually. Well equipped. Quiet. Well located.

The room was a bit old and parts of the walls and curtains were dirty and mouldy :( I was looking forward to as beautiful rooms as I saw on their professional photos, but was disappointed with the reality. However, the bathrooms were as nice as in the pictures.
