The apartment owner Igor and his wife are very friendly and helpful. Igor speaks good English and gave us good tips about how to discover the city. Our room was super CCC (cozy, comfortable and clean). As we visited Bratislava at the end of January, the weather was very cold but the room was well heated and the hot shower saved our lives more times. The location is just perfect, in the heart of the city, few minutes walk from the historical city center. Easily approachable by tram and there are food places, bakery and also grocery nearby.

Easy to reach from the train station, easy to find, lots of restaurants and bars nearby, close to the Old Town. Room was clean and comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water in the shower. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

The shower was handheld, so no place to put it to use both hands to wash hair.

The hotel is located near by a tram station, which is very convenient. Quiet and clean room. They also have refrigerator

Hyde Park Hostel is a really nice place. It has the charm of an older kind of hostel, definitely no frills, but very comfortable and amiable, and very well located a few minutes from the heart of the old town. The owners are amazing, truly: easygoing, helpful, superfriendly. The room we stayed in has a very interesting history, proved by the decoration. If only for this, it was well worth staying here. But in general everything was nice, clean, and working as intended. Good heating, good wifi, good bed and towels, good shower, good kettle and cutlery, easy check in, easy check out, great communication throughout the whole process. All the true basics for a traveller were more than covered.

Some bits clearly have seen a long and eventful life. A little towel hook was missing and the windows and blinds could be replaced. But in general everything worked just fine :)
