The dinner with wine/port tasting from the Quinta along with details about the wine and an explanation of the control, rules and values of the Douro Valley from Luis was amazing. So informative. Would recommend it.

Location was amazing. Pool was nice for a hot day dip. Food and wine was delicious. Luiz’s hospitality and chance to wonder around his vineyards.

No aircon and it reached over 40 during our stay!!

The ambience and the countryside by the winery was beautiful. The small pool was lovely and refreshing. The staff were all helpful. The drive to San Leonardo viewpoint was worthwhile.

I did know this but it is quite a drive to restaurants.

Very nice place to spend some vacation days. Personel is very polite and will do everything for you. They serve a splendid breakfast either inside or in the garden. We enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool and the nice view over the wine fields. You can apply for a delicious dinner every evening along with their own wines at a very acceptable cost.

The Studio room is rather tiny. The bath room is placed under a staircase so you will have to bend your head not to hit the ceiling. Tall people should go for one of the other rooms. The room has no real air conditioning, and it can get rather hot if it is hot outside.

Beautiful property. My room was charming. I enjoyed walking the property and relaxing in he quiet at the pool. Best part was the wine tasting with dinner. Excellent all around. Oh wait...the breakfast was wonderful too!

The dogs were sweet in the day but barked at night. Part of farm life!!

A down to earth, true Douro family and winery, with great dinner and wine tasting.

I actually can't find anything I didn't like. maybe that we couldn't buy their Port?

We really enjoyed our stay. We used it as a base for exploring the Duoro Valley. Our host helped plan our drive with suggestions on where to stop for the best views and give some hints on local restaurants. The property was rustic but also very lovely. You're welcome to view it as your own home. Loved the dogs as well. Wonderful breakfast, and wine dinner one evening.

Maybe that the single bed was hard, but now we are in another place, and I think the bed is even harder. Seems to be a Portuguese thing. Possibly, too, that the family in the room over us seemed to be stomping. But that's to be expected in older buildings. But, really, we enjoyed our stay so much it's hard to find something negative

If you want to feel real life in the wineyard - this is the place. Highly recommend to take dinner with wine tasting - Luis will take care about everything!

You should understand that it’s a farm and it has dogs…very friendly dogs but noisy during the night

A charming farm located in an amazing nook on the Douro Valley. The apartment was clean, spacious and very pleasant. Kind staff. We arrived in the middle of the night and they prepared an excellent dinner for us, as well as the breakfast

You have to put an exact address in waze so as not to make a mistake on the road which is also a bit winding

The location and the fabulous staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Laundry done perfectly, cheese platter by the pool.

Room was a bit damp.

This is a fabulous working farm in a beautiful area of mountainous vineyards with a lovely garden and refreshing pool to dip in. Luis is a perfect host with delightful helpers. I highly recommend his dinner with wine tasting. It was delicious, and we learned a lot about the Douro region and its wines. I hope I can return someday.

Luis (the owner) is also the winemaker. Luis presented his wines, He shared what Douro wine region stands for, its history, regulations, and his own philosophy producing his exceptional wines. His Tia Pia Red Reserva is outstanding. Dinner and breakfast were great, we had breakfast on a small private terrace at our room, overlooking the vineyard (you can choose where to have breakfast). Great experience, relaxing 'no rush' atmosphere, great food, excellent wine and service.

Not a complaint, just something to be aware of. No sign or name plate on the building itself. We stood in front of it, saw a traditional stone wall and house, exactly at the location Google Maps directed us to go to. Not an issue, if you know, and it adds to the special and authentic atmosphere.

The owner, Luis, was really friendly and welcoming. During our check in he helped us to plan our itinerary for our stay and we followed his recommendations for which roads/routes to take and they were brilliant, so greatly appreciated. The wine tasting was full of detail and the food was fresh and filling. The vineyard itself was very picturesque and even had a plunge pool where you could refresh yourself!

Rural location with character. Lovely views all around. Very enjoyable evening of wine & port tasting and meal while hearing about Douro wine making first hand from Luis. Staff all very nice & 2 large dogs on best behaviour(sleeping)

The bathroom had an unpleasant odour. Be aware that there is no signboard for the property, but is easy to locate. Has an upward slopping cobbled drive, entrance at top on left. The location using WHAT 3 WORDS is: rebutted.briskly.ended

Amazing location, rural but brilliant. great to get perspective from local farmer. food amazing, dinner and wine flight is a must. not posh but properly quirky!
