Sehr praktische Lage auf dem Weg zum/vom Flughafen. Saubere, große Zimmer und nettes Restaurant. Die Anlage ist sehr groß mit vielen einzelnen Gebäude. Kleiner Pool, Gemüsegarten und Reste von Weinbau.

Das Bad ist nur durch eine 2m hohe Glaswand mit offenem Durchgang vom Zimmer getrennt. Die Schnellstraße Richtung Flughafen ist deutlich zu hören. Das Guesthouse scheint ein beliebter Ort für größere Feiern zu sein. Partylärm also nicht ausgeschlossen.

It would be fine for a couple, but the open-glass bathroom, was a little strange for me and my mom.

Милейшее место с прекрасным отзывчивым персоналом! Тихая зеленая зона, есть где погулять и отдохнуть. Остановились на одну ночь перед вылетом домой, компания 8 человек. Все номера в отеле имеют свои названия - Анис, Герань и так далее (но персонал по названиям не ориентируется, поэтому было сложно...). Все номера разные со своими особенностями - где-то ванная есть, а где-то только душ, где-то туалет прям напротив кровати и без двери... Номера интересно разбросаны по территории, первый раз надо с провожатым искать нужный) В целом очень понравилось, жаль, что не было времени почилить подольше.

Завтрак не шведский стол, а по меню, готовят минут 20. Мы торопились в аэропорт, и были неприятно удивлены. В нашем с мужем номере туалет был без двери, рядом с кроватью на стеклянной стеночкой, неприятно.

1. Das Personal war überwiegend sehr freundlich. 2. Beim Einchecken/Auschecken gab es einen Gepäckservice. 3. Die umfangreiche Anlage ist einem französischen Weingut nachempfunden. Insoweit Geschmackssache.

Vorausgeschickt: Ich bin viel in der Welt unterwegs. In diesem Fall ohne Auto, nur mit öffentlichen Taxis durch Namibia. Bin also viel gewöhnt und füge mich auch entsprechend. Preis-Leistung = starkes Missverhältnis. Woher die vielen tollen Bewertungen im Internet stammen, erschließt sich mir leider überhaupt nicht. Beispiel: Die Stimmung des Personals im Restaurant ist sehr vom Tip abhängig. Ich änderte kurzfristig das Getränk zu meinem noch zu bestellenden Essen. Die Bedienung rollte mit den Augen und ließ mich merken, dass sie super genervt war. Ich überlegte, die ganze Bestellung zu stornieren. Ob sie denn mit meiner Bestellung Schwierigkeiten hätte, fragte ich sie. Oh nein, alles in bester Ordnung. Andere Bedienungen verkniffen sich offene Reaktionen, es war ihnen aber anzumerken, dass hier nichts von Herzen kam. Auch außerhalb des Restaurants bemerkt man ein "Rollenskript". Es ist wenig echt. Es sind alles Schauspieler in ein französisch anmutenden Kulisse. Mein Zimmer war auf der Internetseite von Booking.com mit 25 qm angegeben. Wenn es viel waren, dann höchsten 9 qm! Die vielgepriesene Küche im Droombos ist eine echte Katastrophe. "Cesars Salad" ist an sich keine handwerkliche Herausforderung. Zumindest in vielen anderen Restaurants. Eine handvoll Salat mit einigen anderen Inhalten, ertränkt in einer undefinierbaren Sauce. Grausig. Die Mengen, auch bei anderen Gerichten ist eine Frechheit. ACHTUNG: Frisch gepresster Orangensaft 80 NAD!! Wer das "Droombos" ausläßt, macht bestimmt keinen Fehler. Kulinarisch ganz hinten, preislich ganz weit vorn. Sauberkeit des Zimmers: Siehe Fotos

The gardens at the property are amazing, the room was comfortable and the surroundings were beautiful.

The room I stayed in was located on the vineyard side of the property and not on the Droombos side as advertised on Booking.com. Breakfast is at the restaurant where you are only allowed one drink and one item off the menu, which I think is frugal. If breakfast is included in the price one would expect coffee/tea, juice, and more than one option between healthy fruits and muesli or hot breakfast.

Very nice object, surrounded by garden occupied by multiple birds species. I have noticed that everything around me was so clean, not even piece of rubbish seen. Personnel was helpful and friendly, breakfast great. I had a nice time there.

Winzige Zimmer. Mittelmäßiges Dinner und lage Wartezeit von 1 Stunde auf das Frühstück, wobei dann noch das Falsche gebracht wurde. In Windhoek gibt es für den Preis bessere Hotels

The property is just beautiful. Close to the city but you feel like you’re in the middle of nature. The food is amazing. Breakfast was a great start to every day.

The only tiny thing I can think of is to have a sign for the door. We walked in on someone cleaning our room because we had just left for a quick minute and she came in and started. And another time we were talking a nap and she came in. If we had a sign saying “come back later” or “please do not disturb” it wouldn’t have been a problem. But it was just a very small inconvenience.

We found accommodation for an executive team at Droombos at last minute. Most highly rated accommodation in Windhoek was occupied.

Staff members are not committed to provide a fantastic customer experience. They are extremely slow on e-mail, but very fast to bill. They are unwilling to go out of their way to deliver an unforgettable experience. Internet / wi-fi is non-existent. Food is 2/10. Droombos is not providing value for money.

Although the food was good, it was not great value for money.

The bed and the sheets were super comfortable, the rooms are big. Decor is beautiful. I liked the restaurant on site, really good restaurant. The venue is beautiful with the trees and the fairy lights at night. It is a great escape for a weekend. Location is also great.

You can hear the doves walking on the roof of your room, maybe to make a plan like "rubberize" the roof sheets to hear them less. This is basically the only thing.

Invoicing was criminal

We upgraded to the suite with the bathtub near the bed and it was just a dream. The staff was super nice and professional and made us feel very comfortable. Food at the restaurant was lovely (massive burgers!)

Upon checkout we payed a big amount of VAT for our room, laundry service and the other activities (transport to the airport). We didn’t appreciate the vat not being included in the price list originally.

A suggestion would be a block out curtain for window by passage. a lot of light through it at night.
