Booking and checking in was a breeze. The owner was very nice and friendly, and always update us promptly before we checked in the apartment.. Very nice high floor apartment facing the city area and the view was superb. Especially when we can see multiple fireworks during the new year celebration.. It was just superb. The apartment is nice with 2 bedrooms with queen size bed. There's also a queen size bed in the living room making it to 3 beds in the apartment. Theres also a balcony where u can sit and enjoy the view. The area was so convenient for shopping. Everything can be found within walking distance. A good stay đ
The lift to the building was terrible. Going up or down the lift is really a hassle. It takes a real lot of patience to wait to for the lift. The lift really need an upgrade. The D'Explanade residence management should really do something about it. That is the only thing that spoil the stay here. The rest was fantastic.

The lift too small & during check out timing its very difficult to use the lift due to heavy usage from other tenants

The place was nicely cleaned, beds were comfortable enough.
The bathroom had a movable bathtub if Iâm not mistaken, and the water was flowing out from the bathtub when we shower. My elderly mother had difficulties getting in and out of the bathtub and there wasnât any other ways to shower except to step into the bath tub. A little dangerous if you ask me.

Wifi and tv connection are unstable. Helpers came to repair but connection still intermittent

The room was clean and spacious. Venue was great-near to. Ksl mall and various food places can be found around the residence.
The lift was very slow..
The card given one of it could not work properly. We couldnt pass the security guard at first as card shown 'in use'.
Then we could not use one of the card when we enter the lift. We kept tapping n trying multiple times.

Location was ideal, accessible and lots of food options nearby. easy check in process with deposit refunded within the day after check out.
shower-head wasnât working properly, the leaking causes splashes when using. room was cleaned but bedsheets have a weird smell.

The location, right on-top of a very big has everything shopping centre. The apartment has a great view, clean and plenty of space for a family of 5.
Having to pay a bond to the host direct. I thought my booking.com account with my attached credit card would be enough but no, the host wanted me to transfer 300 Malaysian Ringgit to his account. I didn't feel comfortable doing this so the only other option was to meet one of the hosts workers and give them the cash. They don't have a receipt for the cash so I got my son to take a photo of me handing the cash to the worker.
And then we had to check out at 730am the next morning where we had to meet up with the worker again once he checked the room to give the 300 Malaysian Ringgit bond money back. The whole process nearly spoiled what was otherwise a great stay.

The view in the room is amazing. I was pleasantly greeted by an awesome sunrise to start my day right.
The location is superbly convenient!

Very clean & comfortable provided with washing machine & kitchen appliances. You can do simple meal. Located at a strategic place. Very convenient. Shopping mall & Restaurants just nearby.

Very cosy and clean environment. Check-in and check-out proceedure were easy and smooth. The KSL mall is just below and many eateries around the area too. Will definitely come again if I stay in JB again đ

The apartment was clean and spacious for myself and my children, with easy access to the apartment. The host was great and helpful, and checking into the apartment was a breeze!
