breakfast and dinner was excellent. Very authentic Japanese meals and view of the ocean from the room.

pillow was had too much beads and too thin for comfort. Had slept on many futons before but this futon isn't as comfortable. No channels in English. Would be great to accomodate international travellers

Excellent dinner and breakfast. Extremely friendly staff. Great location near national park.

Staff were really kind! We were able to reserve the private outdoor bath each night. It was winter so the staff gave us an extra coat and some boots to wear out to the bath. The food was next level. We stayed two nights and had different menus for all of the meals. Lots of local food too, it felt great to support such a beautiful small town. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

the best view you can find in Utoro, right in front of the frozen ocean.

the public area looks a bit messy, there are piles of bed sheets on top of chairs, grandma and grandpa’s personal things that should been hidden.

Checking out of this hotel was a sad experience. I stayed for one night only and it was superb. Amazing location and view of the sea, amazing food, and an out of this world private open air hot spring, in a snowy wooden cabin. Staff was extremely nice and helpful, I needed help with a few things and they really went above and beyond. Even included a free ride from the bus station. I want to return here every year.
