We stayed for 2 nights. 1st morning we had early start for a tour and basic continental breakfast was provided in good time before we left. 2nd day BF was Peru standard; fruit, yogurt, grnaols, bread, jam coffee, eggs. Its a 10 minute easy walk from the centre. But once inside the main gate it is a quiet and peaceful space away from the hustle and business of Puno. The balcony and courtyard garden were lovely. The cafe there does basic snacks like toasted sandwiches and fresh juices which was ideal after our long day and big lunch during the tour. The room was clean and comfortable - I hadn't realised that our queen size bed was 2 singles pushed together until after the 2nd sleep. Pillows were good quality. Clean white bedding. Hot shower. Casa Panaqarani does have a rustic feel to it (if you want chrome plug fittings and plush carpets then try the Hilton). But it is family run and has a wonderful homely feel. The host Ursula was exceptionally friendly, hlepful and welcoming and she definitely made it a 11/10 review for us.
Just a minor comment/ suggestion - the coffee could have been served hotter. But otherwise everything felt lovely and great value.

This family run guest house with garden and terrace area is wonderfully cosy and felt right at home. Towels and bedding and everything else was sparkling clean. The breakfast was served with lovely artisan bread, homemade jam and excellent coffee. Maria and her mother were absolutely delightful and made our stay very pleasant, as well as helping to call a taxi on the street when we left. Would come again.

Lovely hidden house with charming garden. There is a cosy cafe at ground floor and spacious rooms upstairs. Breakfast was great and Ursula was really an excellent host!

Beautiful place, located above a beautiful cafe with a gorgeous garden! The owners are really helpful and nice, the food was delicious and they helped us with laundry and all our questions!
The place is a bit cold and there are no heaters in the rooms. It was well equipped though with blankets :)

LOVED my stay, wished I could have stayed longer! This is a secret garden that feels so welcoming when you come off the bleak concrete streets. Ursula is a very kind hostess, she brought me filtered water, held luggage for me all day and arranged for a special (extremely delicious) home cooked meal for me while I waited for the night bus. The room is very charming, hot great shower, even a cozy cafe to enjoy downstairs! Amazing choice, better than the photos, highly recommended.
Zero complaints.

beautiful property with flowers and birds and a great porch to spend time on. Comfortable and rustic. It is a great place to rest after a long day of travel. Family feel and family friendly. Lots of birds to watch and a cat or two. We were welcomed at the door by the grandma, and mom with her little children! We felt at home immediately and they couldn’t have been nicer or more welcoming. Do yourself a favor and stay here! I’m going to design my own bathroom after the one in our room and hope to have a house with a comparable outdoor space one day.
Only that I didn’t get a long enough time there to enjoy it!

Gorgeous hotel in Puno. It's not in the heart, but it's just 5-10min walking. The space is gorgeous: A beautiful house with plants and a small garden. Rooms are huge, clean and with very big and comfortable beds. The shower is perfect. It is run by Ursula and her mother. They're very friendly and helpful. In the first floor there's a coffee where you can have your breakfast or, in the afternoon, have some drinks or snacks. And as someone said, it's a great place to grab some drinks and kill some time before you catch the night bus ;)
Totally worth and I'd recommend it in a heartbeat!

This is such a sweet little place! My room was comfy and clean, there was plenty of hot water, and the family that runs it is very kind and accommodating. The room was a little dark, but other than that everything was great (not really a big deal). For the price, this was a great deal. I would definitely stay here again!
Room was a bit dark

A unique place. Very rustic. Very quiet. It felt like I was visiting family. Ursula the host is extremely helpful and friendly. I loved the little caffee. Loved the porch. Very good, central location.
Rooms were a bit dark, maybe it could use a bit better lighting.

Really nice staff, breakfast was nothing too special, but perfect for my liking
I had a room with a corrugated plate-roof. Some pigeons used the roof as an airstrip, which was pretty noisy. Bangs when landing, scratching when welking about. Aside from that, everything was great

Super nice place 10 min by walk from the Plaza des Armes of Puno. Very large room with king size bed and beautiful bathroom with hot water, everything is very well decorated. The hosts were really nice, speak English very well and super helpful. They offered to keep our bags while we had our 2-day trip to Amantani and Taquile islands. Excellent breakfast with fried eggs and yogurt.
Nothing, everything was perfect!
