- Awesome host, very communicative, friendly and welcoming, also helpful (we went hiking in the Veluwe and she gave us great tips) - The apartment has everything you need (also for cooking, and there is a coffee machine), it’s clean and comfortable (there’s even an AC which was brilliant since we visited during very hot days). The pool/terrace is also super nice to relax on/in - location is great, we went by bikes from the train station in Arnhem and it took about 20 minutes (10-15 minutes to the center)

The location of the bed is a bit of a challence when you are not super fit.

Klein Waldeck is a small but beautiful and cleverly arranged apartment above the owners garage. We were welcomed as if we were friends of the family. The location on the edge of Velp is comfortably close to all amenities. Moreover, you can walk to Rozendaal Castle or Landgoed Beekhuizen in 20 minutes, from where the Veluwezoom unfolds as an endless hiking paradise. Arnhem with its beautiful parks is also a short distance away. Parking is possible in front of the door. The garden with the pool is shared with the owners. Inside an excellent kitchen, with small dishwasher and unfortunately no oven / microwave. The bathroom is cramped, but nice and clean. We missed a shelf or soap dispenser in the shower cubicle. Wifi, TV (Netflix - provided you have an account), heating and air con are excellent.

Sleeping in the small loft will be a challenge for some. However, we slept well. We found the mattress too soft.

The comfort of the house and how everything was so in handy. The house was in a very good location, with stories five minutes to the house a bus stop 2 minutes .

There wasn’t nothing not to like everything was perfect.
