This property was the perfect spot to experience all the Black Hills has to offer. We took day trips to Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park, Badlands National Park, Wind Cave National Park and Spearfish Canyon. We were able to walk to dinner at Murphy's, Thirsty's and the Independent Ale House. Then we were able to unwind each evening in the spacious living room before retiring to the comfy bed. Thanks Matt and Jami for the perfect spot to enjoy our South Dakota getaway!

We so enjoyed our stay! Very walkable neighborhood and the close proximity to downtown Rapid City was just what we wanted. Short drives to Custer, Crazy Horse, Mt. Rushmore, etc. The backyard patio was perfect for morning coffee and a glass of wine in the evening. Very clean and comfortable! We would highly recommend!

This bungalow was perfect for my husband and I. Very clean and everything you needed for your stay. Hosts were very accommodating.

Wonderful! For the price of a not-great hotel room, you can enjoy this well-appointed yet homey spot with a nice outdoor community area with tables and umbrellas. The central location is perfect - walk downtown or head out in many directions for outings in the Black HIlls. Jamie was an awesome host! Thank you!

The apartment is in a great location. It would be a short walk to downtown but because of the heat we just drove. The apartment was clean. We liked how the apartment was decorated and we enjoyed the shared patio space. It was very hot in Rapid City when we were there and the bedroom did get a little warm at night, but we were able to sleep well and there are a couple of fans if needed. The area is very nice and safe. We would stay there again.

Loved the convenient location and the little “village”. We enjoyed downtown, Prouty Pottery, and Memorial Park. Safeway was nearby to grab a few things as well. Very well done property. Even though I made a list on checkout, Jami was super helpful and sweet. Glad to have met - sorry I apparently don’t know how to read or count days and caused a little stress! She offered to see if other places were available. I’d stay again!

Jami was an awesome host. The apartment was just as described - and then some. It was me and my husband and it was the perfect space. The location was convenient to all there is to see in the area. We hope to return!!!

The facility is in good shape. The bed was comfortable. Owner was accessible and friendly. Really liked the patio seating area. The location is great for easy walking access to downtown.

It was our first experience with vrbo and it was a very pleasant one! The apartment was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated! The shower could pose an issue for the elderly with stepping over the claw foot bathtub but I had a nice hot shower! It was everything we needed. Thank you Carmen

I can't recommend this property. It's an older property. The tub is huge and difficult to get into for a shower. It’s dangerous and doesn’t even look nice surrounded by shower curtains. There's no counter space around the sink and no outlet at all in the bathroom. There's a mini split air conditioner in the living room but not the bedroom. It was pretty warm in the bedroom. The bed was tilting towards the head. There were exposed wires and outlets in the kitchen and no ice trays until the day before we left. There was a pipe leaking in the bathroom the day before we were supposed to check out, so I sent Carmen a text message. The plumber came into the house after we went to our day trip. When we got home around 9 pm that night, the water was shut off to the entire bathroom. No sink, no shower, no toilet and the leaking pipe was missing. I called Carmen but she was in a zone with no service, so at 10 pm, we were moving to a motel for the night. That was not fun. Carmen refunded all our money, but we would have preferred not having to move at that time of night. Carmen was shocked that the plumber did that. There's a really cute patio with tables and umbrellas just outside the rental, but Carmen should do a lot of improvements before renting that space again. The area is not that cute but it's just a short walking distance to the shops and restaurants downtown. You have to get to the property via one way streets. If Carmen does some upgrades, it could be a really nice property.
