The location were amazingly beautiful, private, and secluded. We walked into a freshly clean place. My kids enjoyed bunking in the living. Overall a very nice unit. Thank you we will definitely try to get the unit with the actual see views.
I've sent a message on Booking.com requesting the forms that we have to complete in order to access the property in advance because we had to attend a funeral before driving through to Knysna. I also mentioned that we would arrive before 19h00 on the day. No response from the agent. The forms were sent to me at 13h30 by Linda on the very day that we had a funeral and still have to travel. I only realised that the forms were sent when we stopped at the entrance of the estate, and the security guard asked if nothing was sent to me by the agent. It took us half an hour to get to our actual unit, which could have been just 3 minutes. The moral of the story is that Linda should communicate better to prevent bad experiences like this.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.
The listing is very misleading. Please be careful when booking that you book the ‘suite’ in order to make use of all facilities and views listed. We were expecting a pool, ocean view, braai and full kitchen. Instead we were in the studio behind the apartment which has none of the above. There is a door from within the studio that leads to the apartment which had guests in it as well making it feel unsafe and as though you were staying with people you don’t know. The ‘kitchenette’ listed to be in the studio is not fully equipped and would not be suitable to make your own meal should you wish to. Furthermore, the signal on the property is extremely poor and the wifi connection was weak making it very difficult to do any work or stay in contact. An alarm had gone off at 3.30am. This continued until 4am. When we tried to contact Linda to report the problem, but the phone was put down in our ear.. overall not at all what we were expecting. Please also be very aware of the location of Pezula when using Apple or Google maps. It is not pinned where the actual estate is, but rather in a very dangerous township. We had to get a police escort out as we were surrounded and had no way of leaving. When searching for the location, search for “Pezula Championship Course” or “Pezula Hotel Spa”. This will guide you safely to the destination. DO NOT type in “Pezula Gold Club and Championship Course”. Note from the photos uploaded, the pink rectangle is where the studio is. The apartment is in front of it with the pool, braai, ocean view etc.

Very clean, comfortable well equiped, beautiful accomodation with stunning view. The security officers were very friendly and helpful at the security entrance.Information regarding TV, Wifi, restaurants and other was clear & available.

I went on a business trip for 2 weeks and visited some of the most beautiful places during my trip. Knysna was my last stop and was suppose to be the highlight of my stay....but alas! Firstly, the photos on the website is very misleading! Yes, it was not sea facing, but I didn't travel all that way just to stay in someones back yard. Believe me, the photos taken of the unit is nothing like the actual unit. Secondly and worst of all is the chemical smell in the place. As I entered, my breath was knocked away by the smell. I immediately opened all the windows and doors, but after 30mins I realised that the smell was not going to leave. I then tried calling the agent multiple times, but could not reach her. My chest started closing up and I knew I would not be able to stay there. I then climbed in my car and drove to No8 Dassau road where forms are left to book into Pezula - I met there with a Mike earlier when I collected forms. He was not there and I called him on his phone to ask whether he knows how I can get hold of Linda, the agent. He said he will try as well. I then went back to the unit and decided to book out as I could not get hold of her and it was dark and I had to find alternative accommodation. I then called around and drove for about an hour before I found something else. Only after I found alternative accommodation, she called me and said she could have found something else for me....but if only she answered her phone it would have been great!!! But she just replied that her phone was on charge. Worst client service and worst agent ever!!! She proceeded to keep on messaging me to state her side and to deflect taking responsibility. I doubt whether she actually climbed in the car and smelled the place. And I doubt whether she is a person that would admit that it was not habitable - she deflects taking responsibility! I eventually had to block her on my phone. She ruined my first experience in Knysna!

Everything was great, self catering facilities of the accommodation was great enough equipment to cook or braai. The location is so peaceful. Next time I'll be booking the 2 bedroom with Seaview unit. Luckily we could view this unit as it was vacant during our stay. The Housekeeping Lady was extremely warm and welcoming and explained the facilities in the room well.
One tip, documents that need to be completed prior to arrival don't always push through via booking.com so best to make contact with the host to get documents sent directly to you.

Everything was great.
The way i was treated at the gate was not like a guest.
They mail me documents to my fone at the gate to fill out where i do not had a printer to print it.. it was terrible.
I had to stand for an hour outside the gate.

The pictures on the website, must indicate the exact apartment Nd not the full house, it was advertised as full house, swimming pool, room, wi-fi, the swimming pool was not accessible.Security should have forms available, I booked online had no printer to print forms, staff at the Hotel was very helpful and friendly they printed the form for us. If security was trained they could have assisted us instead of driving to the hotel.

Decor was beautiful and the pathway to the beach.
We were very disappointed with the lack of attention to safety and comfort. The open shower has a design flaw resulting in the entire floor being soaking wet. The bathroom door has mould at the bottom and every time the door is closed and opened again, the floor is wet & slippery again and very dangerous. We booked 2 units and both had this problem.
No attempt was made to inform us of the loadshedding schedule and only a rechargeable LED lamp was made available. There is no mobile signal and during loadshedding the wifi is also not available. First prize wouldn't been informing us in advance that no alternative (e.g. Solar or inverter) is available during loadshedding.
During booking it was compulsory to pay a R150 "cleaning fee" and when I asked on our 1st day at what time cleaning will take place I was informed that it's for when we depart. This should've been included in the price.
Parking bays should be allocated and clearly marked. On our 2nd night another vehicle occupied both parking spaces allocated to us.
The wifi in the Rockpool unit wasn't working. Between the 2 units we booked we only had 1 braai thong and very limited utensil in general.

We enjoyed our stay. It would have been nice to know before that the room given to us had no sea view. If the choice to have a deck was given we would have taken that.
We had to use our key to try all the doors as we did not know where ours was.
Load shedding was so onerous, it would have been nice to have a small gas stove. All 3 days we were there we were loadshed in the morning 6am to 10am. Could not even make morning coffee when we were on holiday.

We were not informed about the security forms that had to be completed & only knew about it on the day of our arrival. Which was very inconveniencing because we arrived in the evening from Cape Town. If we could've been furnished with the paperwork few days before we could've completed but nonetheless we did everything at the gate. But that was not pleasing at all.
The staff was not visible at all. No one came to clean our space during the 3 nights we spent there.
Poor communication from the manager or host. She didn't even bother to respond when we asked if we had access to the swimming pool as we could see it was on the other side but we were unsure how to get there and didn't want to invade on other people's space hence we had to ask in order to be sure.

The deck overlooking the ocean. It was very spacious and the shower was very big. Very nice self catering unit.
There was a miscommunication about how to check in and it caused an awkward moment with one of the other guests.

Cute and clean little unit, however some of the pictures included on the site did not in fact apply so we didn't have a balcony or ocean views. We thought it was too good to be true and we were right :)
No prior warning of having to keep doors and windows closed at all times due to baboons. Powerful aircon cooled little unit wonderfully but when load shedding kicked in from 8pm to after midnight and again from 4am to after 6am, we were dying in there.
Not hosts fault at all but this was just a personal unfortunate experience.

Couldn't find the path to the beach. So was very disappointed that we couldn't enjoy a walk or view on our short stay.

the view from the terrace was fantastic and it was quiet, you only hear the ocean.
The whole apartment smelled of damp basement or mold, our laundry had also smelled like that after the stay. 2 out of 4 ceiling lights were broken. In the
Bathroom there was no window, the light was very very dark and it the extractor fan was far from adequate. The kitchen lacked utensils such as a draining rack after washing up. The countertop was made of untreated

The room was comfortable but stuck behind the garages and next to the staff quarters
There was no prior warning on the booking site about security forms to be completed and returned. Once we arrived at the gate it was requested. The agent was not helpful at all and never returned our request for the forms which we had not received. The hotel next door kindly helped us. To this day we have not heard from the agent to confirm that we entered and found the house. We could not complete the forms online.
The room was not identified by name and there was no view as advertised.
The shower outlet was blocked and the one electrical point was not functioning. The staff room was right next to ours, tv blaring and the door open.
