The accommodation is located at the end of a poorly maintained laneway. There are long hedges which scratched the car to gain access. On accessing the property there is no sign distinguish between the properties. There are other rental properties adjacent. The keybox is there and getting the key was ok once we figured out which building it was. There is a poor signal locally so pulling it up on the phone to check was not possible. Inside the property was lacking a deep clean, lots of spiders, lots of maintenance issues around the building, rotting door, bolts on half door hard to open, outside has not been cleaned in a long time. The bed is uncomfortable, the shower had lots of spiders and the shower door does not close, nor is there anywhere to put shampoos etc. Try balancing holding shower gel, keeping the door closed and taking an actual shower? No bin in bathroom, No hairdryer, no makeup mirror all basics. The most uncomfortable part was the heat and humidity in the room, there is no ventilation and the temps were hot this at night lead to the room being very hot, the only option was to open a door, this then led to the second biggest issue flies. There was with no exaggeration hundreds in the room in the 30 mins or so that the door was open. We had no choice but to use the two existing Raid sprays that were in the cupboard ( Clearly an issue before). This lead to both of us having stonking headaches. We did not use cooking facilities. The Wifi did not work, the TV did not work. We managed to get both going for no more than a few minutes, most annoying for international guests. Plugs and charging sockets - who ever designed this needs to be spoken to - at no point should you be crawling around under fixed furniture trying to get an electrical socket to charge your phone. In conclusion - a lot of maintenance inside and outside needed. Cut the hedges and replace and remove broken outdoor furniture and get a good overhaul done on the property.

The stay was uncomfortable. The chairs were stained and uncomfortable, the dining chairs also. Outside the lounger was broken probably three years ago. Other furniture was dirty and covered in wasps and flys. The outside clearly had not been cleaned in a long time. Overall with the heat and uncomfortable bed we did not sleep.
