The private pool and hot tub

Not a bad place, but needs TLC and updating. Very disappointed that NONE of the 80 photos that we saw for Platinum Vacation Homes are of the house on Fairfield Drive, Kissimmee!! We were only given the address on the day of check-in, after completing our non-refundable registration and not informed that none of the photos we saw were of the house we were given!!! It would be helpful to know the location, the traffic in that area, etc.. We paid $40 extra per day for the heated pool (liked the pool, could have been a bit warmer) and were told that the house was older than some of their other properties, but no details and no photos. I called Booking.com to report that there were some tears in the screen over the pool, a very rusty fan, the gas grill was padlocked, the majority of the cooking pans were in very bad condition (sent photos), some of the sheets & pillows were worn, (yellowish, some bleach-like stains), some of the towels were frayed, fronts of some kitchen appliances & cupboard were not thoroughly cleaned. The King bed mattress was very very soft, causing us to roll to the middle. Also, the loveseat, reclined needs repair. Unfortunately, the tone of the instruction sheets was less than professional (...""c'mon people, this is not rocket science!" and repeated "you will be charged" messaging). It sounds like they have had disrespectful renters in the past. We are also property owners and appreciate sharing our home with respectful people. This home can easily be refreshed. We needed something in that area for this rental, so it worked out ok. But..... I think that renters deserve to see accurate photos and know the details of the property before having to complete the rental agreement and payment.

Location was good for what I needed.

There wasn't laundry detergent so we couldn't wash the sheets and towels, but the owner had a plan for it.

The house was spacious and at a great location

The house was too dirty, trash under the couch, the carpet and the couches are too dirty and stained. the bathroom's shower curtain of the master bedroom was extremely dirty, a new one was requested but was never provided. Towels were old, stained and with holes, the property management was informed and even pictures were sent via text message, no one NEVER responded. The reservation stated no pre-payment was required, and the full amount was charged a few days prior to my arrival, when questioned the property management, Steve, responded that such information was inaccurate and it shouldn't state so on the booking site; such a discrepancy on the quality and convenience promise offered on the booking site vs. the poor level of service from the property management, poor hygiene and condition of the house amenities.

I asked to be on the water and they gave it to me. Always replied quickly to me when I’d email.

The house far exceeded our expectations! Very clean, well kept, very nicely decorated, and everything was easy to find..!! Felt like a home away from home. Will definitely be back!

It was perfect, we had our privacy in the back. It was in a perfect location making it easy to go to the supermarket and finding a place to eat. I will definitely book again.

Beds and sheets totally need a redo. Uncomfortable beds all around and sheets. Had to go buy a set of sheets to put on bed where my wife and I slept others ones seen better days. Also be aware of the last minute charges as well.

The house was really old, we requested a newer home. Although we appreciate you letting us stay in your home, it needs a lot of upgrades. The furniture was really old, the beds made a lot of nice. The carpet looks like its a 30 year old carpet, and its really dirty. The bathrooms were super dirty, we had to clean them to be able to use them. One of the bathrooms didn't even have a shower curtain. The toilets were dirty. The bathroom in the hallway, had a tub that was really dirty we had to put something in it to be able to get it. The beds still had bobby pins and hair ties, so the sheets were probably not even changed before we got there. The garage is used for storage so we couldn't park in it. The kitchen drawers were falling apart. It is upsetting that we are charged a cleaning fee for the days we are there and the house was really dirty. It is a rental property, and people pay a lot to stay here, there should be better maintenance.
