Hearts House gode di una posizione centrale con un ampio parcheggio per tre o quattro auto, sul disco a lato della casa e solo una breve passeggiata in città.

It was a great vacation. We will come back. The descriptions of the house were perfect. The accommodation is close to the town center, yet in a quiet area. We felt very comfortable.

A super property, with everything you would need, in a great location for all the amenities in both the Town and The lakes. Very comfortable beds, beautifully decorated Christmas tree and the log fire topped the ambience. We had a wonderful stay and hope to visit again in the future.

Superb holiday home right in the middle of Ambleside. This was our second stay at Hearts House (always a good sign) The property has four double bedrooms with every mod con you could wish for. The owners have made sure that all fixtures and fittings are of the very highest quality to create a warm and very cosy holiday home. My family comprised of my wife, and adult son, along with my daughter, son in law and my two grandchildren, aged 1 and 6 years.
The owners could not be more helpful and responsive. Mike, Teresa, Simon and Andrea are an absolute pleasure to deal with. We were supplied with a high chair and a good quality travel cot at no extra cost to our booking.
If you’re looking for space and a very modern contemporary luxury holiday home in Ambleside, with off street parking for at least two cars - Hearts House is probably one of the best holiday homes I have had the good fortune to discover.

A Wonderful Week
Our adult family all enjoyed our stay at Hearts House. It's in an excellent location close to the village centre and all the shops, bars and restaurants. Also within easy reach of the main bus stops, so we didn't even need to use our cars. The beds were comfortable, 'deluge' showers very good, and the kitchen well equipped. Altogether an excellent property.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hearts House. Such a well thought out holiday let with all the home comforts included. 5 minute walk from all amenities, so many walks, cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from. We will definitely recommend to friends and family.

We have just had a lovely week at a hearts House, the property is decorated and furnished to a very high standard throughout. Lots of thoughtful touches with some great books, games and magazines to use between our walks and trips around the lakes. My husband is an ultra runner and was able to train from the property easily as it was so well situated. We are regular visitors to Ambleside but must say this has been one of the best properties that we have stayed at. The layout was perfect for large family dinners and board games at the table. We used the TV only occasionally but could log in to netflix which was useful. The kitchen was well equipped although the oven even at the highest temperature seemed to take ages to cook anything. The pans also didn’t seem to be non stick which meant a lot of elbow grease being required to clean them!! However, these were minor blips to an otherwise amazing experience and we would not hesitate to stay at Hearts House again. Thank you Mike for all your brilliant communication throughout. Well done to you all for creating a great holiday home.

Lakes Holiday
We all enjoyed our stay at Hearts House. It was great having our own bedrooms and bathrooms. The views were a delight to wake up to. Large living space was ideal for mixed age group. Baby Evie was spoilt, mum and dad had relaxed birthdays with plenty of helping hands. Really special break.

Arriving on a beautiful sunny day late in May our first impression was WOW!
Location: easy to get to and lots of parking. A short walk by way of 2 short cuts . The closest a set a stairs down into the centre of town or a path a little bit further at the end of the road. Both ways get you to the centre of some great restaurants and a small Tesco shop for basics for the kitchen.
House: The house was as described and more. Spotless and stocked for most things you need when travelling. The owners have thought of everything. Roomy bedrooms, modern bath and shower rooms. A fully supplied and modern kitchen. The beds are large and comfortable after a days visiting the Lake country. The outside patio area was wonderful to sit have a glass of wine and watch the sunset.
Communication: The owners took turns responding to our communications. Emails were answered quickly and answered all our questions and supplied all information we requested.
Summary: We could not have made a better choice for our home location for discovering the Lakes region . The owners made sure that the 4 of us had a wonderful stay supplying information of the area and making sure we had a relaxing stay that was worry free in their home. We saw in their home that it was more than a vacation rental property, it was a special place for them. It was a wonderful place to start our days in Ambleside and the surrounding area. A must was the drive up the “Struggle” to the Kirkstone Pass Inn. This was one of many adventures in the area. From lake cruising to just sitting by the water drinking a cup of tea.
We highly recommend this wonderful home for your stay in Ambleside.

Excellent half term break
This is a beautiful property in an excellent location in Ambleside. We stayed there with our 3 children (ages 11, 8, 8) and their Grandpa (late 70s) and we all had a great time. It’s a lovely house, very well appointed, and plenty of space for us to spread out.
Two small things to be aware of. Firstly, the blinds in the bedrooms aren’t blackout - we had eye masks so coped with this but we’d have struggled when our kids were younger and were up with the sun!
Secondly the beds are quite firm. This was fine for most of us but my partner has problems with his back on beds that are too hard, so he didn’t sleep particularly well.

A great Ambleside find!
We have stayed in a number of properties around Ambleside over the years ... this one is the best we have found so far. It ticks all the main boxes : close to town but not too close, nice views ( the vista from the veranda in the evening sunshine is spectacular) and a well presented property. The house is warm, clean and modern. We recommend Hearts House highly.

We have just had a wonderful stay at Hearts House, the house is truly lovely, spotlessly clean and every detail thought of. Waking up in the mornings and looking out at the view was just bliss, and the short walk to the shops was so convenient. 5 stars... we will definitely be back.

Luxury tasteful accommodation
The house stands up to its description of a luxury holiday let. The property has been decorated and finished to high standard making it a comfortable place to return to each day. It is situated only a 5 minute walk to the heart of the Ambleside town so makes it convenient for an evening stroll for a beer and food and there are plenty of places to choose from! I would highly recommend this property for its ambiance and comfort. A plus point is also that the owners are attentive and responsive to any queries or issues you may have. We will use this property again.

Fantastic House and Location, would highly recommend!
We loved our time at Hearts House, we had such a wonderful time. The house is perfectly located centrally in Ambleside with only a very short walk to the shops, cafes and pubs and also a great position to base yourself for some Great Lake District walking. Our only regret is that we had to leave!

This is a lovely property!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hearts House. The property has a lovely atmosphere, plenty of room, there were 8 of us and it was warm and cosy. The open plan downstairs enabled us all to enjoy our time together, whether it was just relaxing, doing puzzles, playing cards or more importantly enjoying preparing and sharing some excellent meals.
The house is very tastefully decorated, bedrooms very comfortable and bathroom facilities were excellent.
We would have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone. It's position in Ambleside is central to many beautiful areas in the Lake District. We enjoyed our time walking in both sunny conditions and snow within the same week.
Mornings started with a swim in the adjacent leisure facilities, followed by a visit to the steam room.
What more could anyone want? Eight happy people and our thanks to the owners for all the work they put in to making this such a lovely property.
We look forward to returning.

Fantastic property - amazing views!
We stayed at Hearts House for a family Xmas and had a fantastic week. The house is beautifully renovated to a high standard and the attention to detail is excellent.
Great location with a few minutes walk to the shops and plenty of parking space. The open plan kitchen / diner and sitting room were perfect for Xmas Day and the three separate bathrooms were a bonus.
Simon and Mike were helpful and provided lots of helpful information before our visit.
I would definitely recommend this property and will be looking to return in the future.
