Could hear noise of others, snoring and their alarm clock. Only fruit at breakfast was an old apple. How about a banana?

Nice, new hotel very convenient to I40 and Petrified Forest National Park.

The only small complaint was the very small size of their coffee cups. They should be bigger.

After looking at the options in the Booking app, we drove down route 66 to look at a couple of hotels. The La Quinta stood out as a newer place and it was a little more set back from the interstate than the other hotels. We asked for a top level room on the back of the hotel and that was nice. The sunset was very pretty. The bed must have had a memory foam topper and it was very comfortable.

It was a little expensive, but we were in the mood for a newer hotel.

From our great experience checking in after 8:00 PM, to the modern comfort of the room, to the excellent shower/counter/bathroom space, to breakfast offerings…it was delightful!

The shower pan needs recaulking. But that’s really it!

This is clearly the best (and maybe only actual) hotel in Holbrook. Recently built in the east end of town just right off I-40. It's not very large, but it's a real actual modern Hotel. The rooms are what you would expect - very clean, modern, plenty of power plugs (including wireless!). Not too far from some good food if you're adventurous. Parking lot was safe and seemed secure. I would most definitely stay here again. Just a note - this place was sold out by 2pm the same day. So if you don't use a wonderful service like this to book it in advance - you are going to be out of luck if you drift into town and expect a room. We had the room right behind the elevators and it was not a problem at all with noise. In general the rooms seemed very quiet for the hotel being sold out. Even though it's clear that Holbrook has seen better times, there are some good places to eat at. They definitely are 'hole in the wall' looking - but for sure beats the fast food (of which there is plenty) options if you've been on the road and want a real meal.

Being a modern hotel, there's a focus on 'reducing carbon footprint'. It's all great there is an attempt - however, the rooms feel a bit like caves due to lack of lighting. And the lighting they do use is bright white LEDs. These have a lot of blue light and thus will actually make it more difficult to fall asleep. The rooms could use more lighting with some soft LEDs - get rid of the blue light. They use actual bar soap (which seemed odd considering the attempt to reduce carbon footprint/waste) instead of the refillable body wash/shampoo/condition that most other hotels have these days. Also the bathroom doors are at an angle to make room for the fridge/coffee machine. At first this seemed a bit odd, but ok. However, not expecting the door to be at that angle - I learned the hard way that the door is in fact very hard and can easily smash your fingers if you're not careful. Use the handle to pull it closed, don't pull on the door itself or you'll wind up doing what I did... As I mentioned above - Holbrook itself has seen better times - not much the hotel can do about that. Just be prepared for that. This is a great hotel to stop at overnight on a roadtrip or before/after seeing the Petrified Forest.

Location is right on the main drag. Nice spaciuos room. Bathroom best I've seen in cleanliness and convenience.

Need to get rid of that big ugly sign in front of property.

Good breakfast, coffee- was opened early. Very clean, staff was very accommodating and helpful.

It was a newer property which was nice I guess.

It has a weird smell, the rooms weren’t fully clean (hairs in bathroom, weird stain on mattress), and no late checkout policy.

Everything was new, clean and comfortable. I am staying again on my return trip.

Location was fine. Beds were comfortable.

This is a very well managed, clean sparkling facility. We were very happy with our room. We were especially pleased to discover a very nice dog park on premises
