Super clean, very well provisioned. Comfortable. Great place for a dog. Fun Koi pond. This was our second stay there. If we travel to Colorado Springs again, we will want this house.

The house was exactly as described. We loved that they accepted dogs and are so close to the Bear Creek dog park. Each morning we would take our dogs for a walk and then to the park. The house was exactly what we wanted to go home to. Anything that you can imagine needing in the kitchen to make your own meals, and a comfortable place to sit and watch television. We did not spend time in the basement but I can see why it would be a great place to hang out. The yard is very nice and our dogs loved being able to spend time outside. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your home. We would love to stay here again when we make our way to Colorado Springs.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jim's home. We appreciated being able to stay in a nice quiet location that was still convenient to downtown Colorado Springs. The house was comfortable and all the essentials were provided. We also liked feeding the fish!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this spacious home. It's located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood just minutes from Garden of the Gods & Manitou Springs. We were traveling with our 2 dogs, and really appreciated having the large, fenced yard that offered them a safe space to run, and the "dog room" was fantastic! This property doesn't just "allow" dogs but offers amenities specifically for them including a dog washing station and kennel area so they have a safe space to stay if you want to leave them alone for a while. Just follow a few commonsense guidelines and you and your dog(s) will have a great stay! This home was very well maintained and SUPER clean! The neighbors were friendly and we felt right at home. We enjoyed the koi pond and the deer who often visited. We would definitely stay here again!

This house and the owners surpassed our expectations on every level. The owner and caretaker always made themselves available and were so very kind. The house had an amazing view in the kitchen at sunrise and the front of the house had a koi pond that deer come and drink from. The beds are comfy and they really did think of everything right down to the jewelry holders on the dresser! My miniature schnauzer had his own little room to stay in when we went for massages and did a little shopping where he couldn’t go and his own little back yard! We are so blessed and thankful for finding this gem nestled in the Rocky Mountains !!We will be back!!

Beautiful home that was centrally located- everything is about 20 minutes away. Provided a wonderful space for our family of 5-my husband & I, our son, our daughter & son-in-law & grandpup. Home was clean, neat, very spacious, beautifully decorated & has everything you could need-including for your pup! Deer roam around the neighborhood & there are fish in the front pond… what more could you ask for?! Will definitely stay again if in the area!

This house is beautiful!! They thought of everything right down to the jewelry holders on the dressers and candy dish as soon as you walk through the front door!! The beds were comfortable and the overlook from the kitchen window was breathtaking every morning when the sun rose and in the evening when the outside solar lights kicked on. My miniature schnauzer enjoyed his own yard! We saw the deer at the koi pond and it snowed the last night we were there which was the icing on the cake! The owner and caretaker were amazing and know how true hospitality works . They gave great advice on dinner and activities. We will definitely be back!

The place is PERFECT for our family including the dogs. We spent the days out and about and enjoyed the evenings at this vbro, it was perfect with two living rooms so some days when teens need a break they hung out down stairs. The 10 acres dog park was a quick ride so even the furbabies could run every day. The place was very clean and well organized, immediately feeling like home. I especially loved the cleaver signs helping everyone know about the house. (Leaving mom out of it) We would love to return again! Thank you Jim and Deb!!!

Very clean, well-stocked & dog-friendly home! Great amenities within; nice backyard & patio; Koi fish pond we fed daily; very comfortable. We had deer visit daily. Our wonderful hosts were a text/call away even if we only had a question. That was comforting to know!

The house was fully equipped, with extremely comfortable beds, beautiful lighting throughout, and most enjoyable patio with great view. Deer wandered in and out of the fenced yard, and trimmed the grass while we watched. All fun! A special shout out to Chris, Property Manager, who came over in only a few minutes, when we were having trouble the first time with new, high tech cooktop. We figured it out, and I became quite proficient on this excellent Miele cooktop. Many thanks, Jim and Deb.

This house was everything advertised, and more. Wonderfully dog friendly, spotless, and my granddaughter loved having her own separate suite downstairs. Quiet neighborhood with a view of city lights from the patio.

The location of this beautiful home was perfect for our family. Close to dog parks, golf, Cheyenne Mountain State Park and restaurants! This home was just amazing! We were so happy with our choice. The home was more beautiful and comfortable than we had hoped. We were visiting family (wedding) in the area and we all felt like we were at home. The house was exceptionally clean and extremely well stocked!!! The kitchen was amazing and we enjoyed cooking together. The pet spa was amazing! The staff responded to our questions immediately, we were well taken care of. Would stay here again!"

We recently stayed four nights at this delightful mid century home. It was a fun experience just to stay at the house because we had such great appreciation for the owner’s retention of a great deal of the original architectural and design charm of its era. The house was immaculately clean and remodeled in all the right areas. The house location is convenient to everything and perfect for easily getting to all the fun activities in the Colorado Springs area. Communication with the owner was excellent and entry to and from the house was flawless.

Our daughter and her family from Denver (2 adults, 2 children plus one dog!) joined us over Memorial Day Weekend. We enjoyed all the outside adventures with the kids. At the end of the excursions, it was so nice to know we could relax in this “dog friendly” and “family friendly” home. The arrangement of the house provided space where we could gather together and space where we could have some separation. The dog room, dog run, and large backyard are definitely a plus if you have a dog. There also is an awesome dog park close by. But even if you do not have a dog, this home is great for family and friends. The location is great, the rooms are well decorated and spacious, and the amenities could not be better. I definitely would recommend this home to someone who wants to enjoy all that Colorado Springs has to offer without staying in the confines of a hotel.

We spent a lovely short week in this beautiful home. Everyone had their own place to spread out. Roscoe loved the doggie shower and hangout lounge made just for him. 😁 We loved walking in the neighborhood- saw some deer and a coyote. The well stocked kitchen made feeding the family easy! Great home away from home.Easy drive to USAFA.

Great location, so many little things included in this house, you really feel like it is your home away from home. Will definitely try to stay here again on our next visit to the Springs!

We loved everything about this property. It's super dog friendly, the neighborhood is easy to access with grocery stores nearby. The kitchen is fabulous. It has a cool view and it's set up with everything you need to entertain. We had a family brunch for 8 and it was very comfortable. We enjoyed it in the winter and hope to come back again in the summer.

One of the best VRBOs I've ever stayed at. Very comfortable, master bed mattress is fabulous. Great location, great house, great owner. Jim is wonderful to work with
