It was clean. Beds were comfy although one of the queen beds was in that would normally be a study. The dining table only had two dining chairs. The living room furnishings were showing signs of wear but comfortable enough. Upstairs was nice although the stairs are a bit on the steep side. The lights over the sink in the on suite master bathroom were out. There was an overhead light so it was okay. There were 5 of us and two dogs. There was a nice side yard fenced for the dogs but it is shared with other guests. For us this was not a problem. Check-in info was not provided until the first day of the rental. It would have been better to get it a day or two early. The location was very quiet and quite nice. As the title says, it was okay.

Entrance siding on the house needs cleaning thermostat is not changeable. House seemed cold most of the visit. instructions would be nice to have in a booklet for renters.along with things to do in the area. Online instructions said to not bring liquids upstairs because of potential staining of carpet. The upstairs carpet was really full of stains, and the carpet under the sofa etc downstairs also needs cleaning.Not up to the standards we come to expect from VRBO places we've rented previously..

Location was great. Owner did get back to me but delayed, and didn't fully read what I was asking for/about. Firepit has to be lifted out of the brick enclosure if you want to be able to open the door and read the instructions on how to use. Bathroom lights in master never worked, decent amount of stains throughout house. No extra trash bags for help with garbage, minimal cups and only 2 dining room chairs which doesn't make sense to me. Appreciated the laundry facilities. It was ok for our needs, but can't see renting here again.

Dustin was accessible and prompt regarding reservations and check-in. The property itself is on a corner, in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Parking was easy, and the property was easy to get to. House was very clean, and towels, washcloths, etc. were laid out on each bed. Huge kitchen with modern appliances. It is worth noting that there is not a downstairs shower or tub, so elderly or mobility challenged may have difficulty getting upstairs for a bath. It is also worth noting that if you chose to visit in July or August, there is not central air-conditioning; although Dustin did have semi-portable room air conditioners accessible. It was a great stay, great property, and recommended highly.

I + a few other young female colleagues stayed here on a work retreat. We didn't feel safe after realizing the basement "unit" was also occupied by renters, and the door couldn't be locked from our side of the house. Very creepy, not peaceful. Nobody slept well. Wish we knew this important detail before renting!

I can not recommend this property. It was unsafe for children. There are uncovered electrical outlets, holes in the sheet rock in the kids room, ceiling was coming down. This property is actually a shared house. Since the kitchen door has vented panels you can see into the other apartment. Meaning they can see into your space. All showers are upstairs so not accessible if you are injured. The outside space is shared between the property the basement apartment and the apartment above the detached garage. Fans were necessary to keep the house cool enough. Mold lots of mold in the bathroom upstairs around the window. The blinds in the what is considered the bedroom do not go all they way down. So passerby’s can see into the room. There is a fireplace between the living room and downstairs sleeping area that is definitely see thru. There are taped blind material to the doors going into the downstairs sleeping area. Taped with black electrical tape. I want to say very strongly that this was the most uncomfortable unsecured place. The adults in our party did not sleep based on how unsafe we felt.

We had a last minute trip to Colorado, I would like to say Colorado Springs is my absolute favorite area in Eastern CO. I would say this property is all location, location, location. Perfectly located near downtown, Garden of the Gods & mountain activities, We walked to coffee both mornings and to dinner one night. I would absolutely stay here again just for the location. The property could use some updates, but if you are looking for a place to sleep after you spend your days outdoors then this is the place.

Our family of 7 had a wonderful trip to Colorado!

It was clean but not thoroughly. We were asked to wash, dry & put dishes all away. (My past experience has been you load dishwasher & start.) Beds were comfy; dining table was rickety as were at least one of the 3 dining chairs. Upstairs was nice; bathrooms especially. We were surprised that there were only 3 dining chairs although there’s room for more & house is large enough for bigger parties; there were 6 of us. With a little attention this could be a nice place to stay.

Home worked well for our one night stay prior to heading to Philmont the following day! It was close to food and Garden of the Gods! Location was quiet and space was ample!

Beautiful decor and layout! This is a quiet neighborhood with great location to all the parks Colorado Springs has to offer. We had a family of 8 and there was plenty of space to accommodate everyone.

This VRBO listing is not at all how it looks in the photos listed online. Everything is extremely dingy and stained (from the outside to the inside)— this place is very unsanitary and just downright filthy. The owner is also very unreasonable and hard to work with. To this end he is apparently not willing to correct the false advertisement that he currently has going on.

Myself and a group of friends stayed the weekend so we could train at iFly the indoor skydiving tunnel. The house was great for six adults, very spacious and comfortable bedrooms. We enjoyed hanging in the lounge in the evenings and the backyard in the mornings. The kitchen is very spacious had what we needed. The location is great, easy walking distance to local restaurants and close to other attractions in Colorado Springs. Would definitely stay here again if we come back!

Nice, quiet neighborhood and close to everything. The house is very comfortable and with everything we need for our stay. The host is very attentive and always responded immediately to my questions. I would definitely stay there again.

Dustin’s 823 location was the perfect set up for us. We were in town to help move daughter to San Diego and needed a base to live in while we packed and cleaned her rental house. Dustin’s communication was superb. Thx

Great Location. We walked to Downtown Colorado Springs. We walked to Old Colorado CIty. The house has lots of room for families and you can hop on I-25 in a minute and get anywhere in Colorado Springs quickly. Fantastic Hosts. In addition to being affordable, it's an overall GREAT place to stay!!

Great rental experience!

Overall the house worked very well for us. We would stay again. No major issues. Just few things to keep in mind. 1) Says sleeps 12 but really only 10 unless you want to sleep on a love seat. 2) The house doesn't have AC. Just 2 indoor floor type units so it could get a little warm especially upstairs bedrooms. (it was fine for us but I could see where someone would be uncomfortable) 3) A couple of the electric/light switch plates were cracked/broken. (We didn't have any small children with us but if we did, I could see it being an issue).

We enjoyed our stay…but the rooms are mostly upstairs and the upstairs windows have several that are missing screens. The house has no air conditioning. The kitchen is great and decently equipped. The house overall worked well for us.

The house was nice. Just know that the first floor bedroom has clear glass doors looking in. You can also see to this bedroom through the fireplace. We had to buy paper blackout shades for privacy.

1. I thought is was a single home. There is an apt in basement and a apt above the garage, which, they get the driveway, and you park in road. Not an issue until, we thought the yard and equipment was for our use, nope it’s for everyone. So, how do they decide who pays for non cleaning or damage of items ? Wish I knew this in advance. 2. Bedroom on lower floor has no privacy, no curtains on door, or lock and you can see thru the fireplace from living room. 3. No manual on how to use things, remotes for tv or fireplace, or furnace, appliances. Or list of Rules. This house was in a great location for our family to attend our daughters wedding. Unfortunately, the first days were horrible staying here. We were only provided 6 towels and wash clothes for 10 people. For 6 days. We had to go out and buy more towels. We requested more and was told they didn’t have any. We tried to do laundry first night washer broke. Told we’d have to wait for a repair man, so we washed towels at laundry mat till one showed up on 3 days later. Was cold first two nights but you can’t control heat bec they have it set on a program, we froze 2 nites. We found the carbon and smoke alarms laying on a table not installed with batteries. Only 1 worked on the lower level. Also, the rod in the main shower. Upstairs not installed properly and fell on my head while showering. Also they have power outlet without covers, we had to watch so our grandsons didn’t get hurt on those. And had two grills outside used and left so dirty, it was gross. Still had a pile of used charcoal underneath the grill. The utensils were laying on the grill and looked like they were left out dirty for months. I took this unit for its location and bec it had a host, well that is just a third party company as far as I can tell, there is no one called Dustin, I have only gotten the run around , trying to get help on all these matters.

The stay was amazing.

Communication with provider was excellent. House was clean and in a great location. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up.

We enjoyed our stay

We could not stay at this property. Had to find another place to stay after hours of traveling from out of town. The inside house temperature was 81 degrees on the main floor and 91 degrees on the top floor. Owner would not answer our phone calls or the calls from vrbo when we contacted them. Filed a case against the owner for full refund.

This house is beautiful in a great location although it is not air conditioned. It had two portable a/c units that did cool the two rooms they were in, but the rest of the house was too hot to sleep comfortably. Lucky for us it rained off and on and the night temperature were in the 70s by bedtime and we bought window fans to keep the house cool. The kitchen is well equipped and very nice. The bathrooms are nice. We found wet towels in the washer and sheets and towels in a basket on the front porch. The fire pit did not work and couple of the bar stools were broken. Again the location is great in a very quiet beautiful neighborhood.

Very clean, friendly communication, easy to locate, and a great overall excellent experience!

It was clean and looked just like the pictures, but the upstairs is hot. They do have big fans running, and it cooled down at night. The only problem is that the fans and air conditioning units were so loud. The backyard space is shared, and there is another tenant in the basement. The door that separates the main house and the basement has a vent, which makes it very loud when someone comes in that way. It did not bother us at all as the people weren't loud, but the first time someone came in, it sounded like they were in our house. Just an FYI so it doesn't scare you. Overall, this was a good place, and the neighborhood seemed friendly.
