This place, the location and of course all the staff were absolutely awesome. As a peaceful tranquil setting it is absolutely worth every one of the previously given reviews here. For us it was one of the nicest places to stay ever booked on booking.com and we would certainly love to return whenever we have good reason to. Thank you so much Liz and Wendy - the perfect hosts.

Brekkie was amazing, location perfect. Staff/owner were extremely welcoming and friendly.

Im guessing purely our own fault, but we couldn't control the temperature in the room which, we believe was preset. Slept with window open to cool the room down.

Tastefully renovated with a lovely ambiance. Genuine friendly hosts made our stay even more special. Perfect location for an intellectual interlude. Very clean and homely, looking forward to rebooking in the future

Absolutely every aspect!

The room was spacious the bed comfortable it was like staying at a home from home.Beautiful Gardens with lots of parking. Delicious breakfast Lovely owner Elisabeth who made time for us and other guests lovely lady. Quiet retreat, would definitely return when staying in the area.

A beautifully restored property set in well maintained grounds, the staff are friendly and helpful with an excellent attention to detail all round, even assisting with reservations for dinner at a local restaurant.

A nice welcome somewhat undone by requiring you to complete an A4 form with all your personal details (including the reason for your stay) before you are allowed to check in.

The property was amazing. The staff warm, friendly and very accommodating. Also went above and beyond to cater for food allergys, they made us feel it was completely normal and no extra work.

Going home.

Feeding the goats Keith and Liz were lovely hosts, their home is spotless and welcoming. Wendy's local knowledge was very helpful when we were thinking of places to visit and eat at.
