Nice accommodation overlooking the fields with grazing horses. Quiet & close to Selfoss & Reykjavik so it was quite convenient. There is a TV with some channels for entertainment. Check-in/out was simple and easy.

Got a little lost at the start because of road blocks. Host can consider providing more detailed directions to the accommodation.

Difficult to find with road changes between Selfoss and Hveragerdi

great place, quiet, comfy, kitchen with everything you need , we loved their cat and dog

remote without feeling disconnected; the location gave us a good base for day trips up the east and south coasts. limited light or noise pollution. facilities were basic but in good working order. staff were very easy to communicate with and we met a cheeky farm cat during our stay.

a little inevitable but the wind got up to a good speed to make the place rattle a little bit, but that’s part of the experience of Iceland in spring.

The host was really helpful, friendly and accommodating. The apartment was clean, and comfortable and had everything we needed for our one night stay. The view of the sunrise was spectacular. I'd definitely recommend it and I'd definitely be happy to stay here again.

The twin beds and the double sofa bed are in the same room, so it may have felt cramped if the four of us had stayed for longer.

The apartment was lovely and warm, had a well equipped kitchen and bathroom and was spotlessly clean. There were great views out to the mountains and countryside with horses running in the fields nearby. When we were there everything was covered in snow which added to the Christmas atmosphere. We were a family of 3 and there was plenty of room for us and there was great WiFi and cable TV too. The apartment was only 5 minutes drive to restaurants, supermarkets etc. Krissa and her family were very helpful and easy to communicate with. They kept the road to the apartment clear of snow for us and checked we were ok.

A very nice and comfortable home with kitchen equipment, TV, bed/pillow and the toilet was clean too! The host was very helpful in sharing the northern light info.

All was ok.. just the cabin was quite small for a family with kids.

We loved your dogs,especially my daughter, place was spotlessly clean, beds were very comfy,well equipped Apartment, great views, and was very lucky to see northern lights, with a fantastic view 😀 a home from home,our best stay in the 11 days of touring your beautiful island via the ring road,kind regards the Garlinge family, thank you

The lock does not work. But overall everything is excellent.

Nice cabin with the welcoming smell of fresh laundry. All confort for a short stay is available and the beds guarantee a deep sleep. Quiet location with a fantastic view, a great base to visit the natural hotsprings of Hveragerdi but also Reykjavik and the Reykjanes peninsula. If you stay here, please be nice to the cat, it is such a sweetie!

We loved our stay. The location was perfect and the view every morning was so peaceful. The shower was big and great water pressure and the bed was super comfy. I 100% recommend!

Wonderful location. Very responsive hosts. The views were amazing. The place was compact as advertised but as it has lots of glass wall windows did not feel cramped. They had outdoor space and bbq but did not use it due to weather.

Maybe small for 4 people

The house is like in the pictures. It is not very big (we knew it), but it was enough for what we needed for a night. We were 4, so we used the sofa bed, wich was very comfortable. Very clean The views from the house are beautiful. The communication with the host was smooth and easy We recommend it!

felt the sleep quality can be improved with better quality curtains to stop the light coming in during summer months at middle of night .. also the pillows could be of better quality for a good night sleep

Perfect size for a couple with everything we needed for a one night stay. It was really cosy and warm when we arrived in the cold!

Modern little house with view, well equipped, located 2mins from Road 1. The owner Krissa is very kind and flexible, we booked last minute, arrived late, left early and both the house and the process was absolutely flawless.

Everything was just perfect, the staff was really kind with us. The place was just amazing, cozy and warm. You have everything you need and you're surronded by nature! We loved our staying here!

Loved our stay in this apartment. Set in a lovely location next to a horse farm it was a wonderful place to wake up to and return after exploring other parts of South Iceland. Very comfortable and modern with great facilities to cook and shower. The hosts were also great with communication excellent. The icing on the cake was on our last day when the family Icelandic sheep dog came down to say hello. For anyone who’s thinking of exploring this area I would highly recommend staying here. I know if I return I certainly will stay here again.
