Pictures don’t lie. Only small issue is the parking not ideal for a bigger vehicle.

I stayed here with my husband, son and mom. The place was so nice with two master suites. The kitchen was beautiful and fully stocked with equipment. The views of the ocean were truly special. My family really enjoyed the Oceanside community. The beach is close, the restaurants were fun and the people were friendly. I highly recommend staying here. Enjoy!

No beach, but perfect for our family. We were looking for a private location on the ocean where our family could relax, read books and enjoy the sights, sounds and smell of the ocean. We watched dolphins play in the surf, saw various birds and fishing boats.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The house is clean and very welcoming. Decor is exactly as pictured, not just staged and then gutted like many on VRBO. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cookware. Beds are very comfortable and linens are good quality. The location is right on the water. Like all homes steps from the water there is a breakwater, but beach access is only about 100 feet away. At low tide the sandy are is very large. We had a wonderful weekend at this property and would definitely return.

My daughter decided that she wanted to bring a couple friends to the beach instead of having a 16th birthday party. The house was exactly as pictured! The view is perfection! The kitchen is well stocked and the host is extremely responsive. The backyard is perfect, and you have your own firepit and sand area. Just be aware that it's private, as in you don't have to share it, but there is no privacy if that's what you're looking for! It was perfect for my daughter and her friends to sit by the fire, and have breakfast on the patio/balcony. The tide was very high while we were there, so there was no beach in front of the house, only rocks. We had to go down near the pier to find a sandy area, but it was a short drive (walkable, but maybe a bit far) with plenty of parking. Overall, it was a great time. My only small complaint is that 10:00 is a very early checkout time. I wish it was a little later! Other than that, we had an amazing time and will definitely be back!

Clean, modern, and kid friendly. This place is great! It does not disappoint. My husband booked a couple of days for my birthday and it was a nice surprise, as soon as you walk in you’ll be amazed with the view. Sunsets/sunrise , surfers, birds and dolphins .

Stunning location, view, all the beds so comfy, super nice quality bedding. Sleeps 8 comfortably. 3 FULL bathrooms. Great kitchen and large kitchen table. Fire pit so fun.

Beautiful property inside and out. Oceanfront patio with wonderful view and location. Walking access to many restaurants and pier, etc. would highly recommend this VRBO. True California experience.

We had a great time for our long weekend trip! The place is nice and clean. My only point would be what someone else mentioned, it is very minimally stocked. There is a great little spot up the street for breakfast tacos! We had a blast!

This property is perfect from the newly remodeled interior and home decor to the amazing location. The private beach and fire pit it’s a dream spot to watch the sunset!

This property was perfect in many aspects. The bedrooms were nice size and two rooms with kings was the best. Very clean pretty and user friendly and well equipped for what we needed for kitchen. Enjoyed bonfires in the evening and listening to the waves was very relaxing. We would definitely stay there again.

Two families of four - with kids aged 5-9 - stayed for 4 nights. The house was great with the two masters and a bedroom/bathroom for the kids. We had everything we needed and the location was a pretty easy walk to small shops/restaurants/Oceanside beach. The waterline does stay pretty high in this area, so no ‘beach’ was available at the path close by to the house, but the kids loved the sand area and all the sand toys that were our backyard. The sandy beach area near the pier was a walk or short drive, depending on your kids ages. The view of the ocean was beautiful. We would stay here again.

Great for everyone! Stayed here with my family and parents. Plenty of street parking for larger vehicles, but the regular parking is decent too. House was clean and had that wow factor when you entered. Kids room was great! Plenty of games to choose from. The beds and showers were amazing!

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely oceanfront rental. Loved the fact that there is a backyard sand area. There was no beach in front of the rental at the time we were there. I guess the tide was too high. The waves were big and a blast to watch. We got to see dolphins and lots of surfers from the house. It’s a short drive to a beach (paid parking). We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing property!

Beautiful clean and a happy place.

We are from Los Angeles and we stayed here for three days when some relatives were visiting from Iowa. AMAZING!! When we stayed it was very, very rainy. But we did not feel like we missed out on the beach and ocean because of the great view that you could take in from the warmth of the living room. This place is well stocked with dishes and cooking utilsils. Checking in and finding the place was ridiculously easy. Loved that there were two master suites for the parents and a room for the kids to share. I hope to revisit again!

The 2 king beds and 4 twin beds was perfect accommodations for our group of 4 adults and 3 small children. Also, having 3 bathrooms was really nice. Lots of nice amenities, and close to a Sandy beach/park.

We had such a relaxing time here with the ocean sounds and the ability to sit by the fire in the evening when it got a little chilly. The house was clean and welcoming. The only improvement I would ask for is a few more towel sets available, 1 towel per guest was hard to manage without having to do laundry every day. Also, if you can add a welcome book that might have all the places to get things like firewood. Other than those suggestions everything else was amazing. Even 3 dolphins see us every day around 10am. Watching them play on the surf was my favorite. I also wanted to do a shout out to Capt. Dave's Whale Watching in Dana Point, we had the best time with them during our stay, was able to see over 2000 dolphins in a large pod. Would definitely book again.

My family of adults stayed here and had a wonderful time. Hearing the ocean waves was so relaxing. Our view was unbelievable. On Thursday Camp Pendleton had a few helicopter exercises which was fun to watch in the evening over the water. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. My only issue is that this home desperately needs a small electric vacuum. Sand gets all over the tile floors and sweeping gets to be tiresome.We hope to stay here again. Location is fabulous.

This home was so beautiful, comfortable and you cannot beat the location and beach view! I would definitely stay here again! There were 8 of us and never once did I feel crowded! The beds are very comfortable too!

My husband and our five littles and I stayed here from the end of September to the beginning of October. As soon as you walk in you just see OCEAN! It’s so beautiful. I will say I was confused on where the door was because there are no pictures of the entrance. It’s to the left of the garage and you go down the stairs. The staircase is kind of shared as the other unit has to use it to get to their area of the beach which is to the right of your area. When we stayed it was perfect for our kids. There were other kids staying next door so they were able to make new friends! There’s plenty of beach toys. A LOT of towels are provided. There were only 5 wash cloths when we stayed so we had to wash them a lot. So maybe at least having as many wash cloths as the amount of people staying would be helpful. The washer and dryer is not inside the unit but right outside the door. It didn’t seem to be shared with the other unit. Owner provides a full little bottle of detergent. Also provides shampoo, conditioner and body wash in all of the bathrooms. It says they start you out on toilet paper but we honestly didn’t have to buy anymore and we were there for a week. A couple of things that would make the stay just that much easier would be just a little laundry basket of some sort to be provided. Since the washer is in the hall and a lot of sand gets tracked there you drop your clean clothes from the dryer carrying them back in to the unit. Also some new fire poker things for the fire pit. The ones there are falling apart. We still used them to make s’mores and they were fine. There’s an outdoor shower to rinse yourself off. Only thing was the top handle was broken so we could only use the feet one. All in all we had an amazing time and we’re very happy!!! Last amazing water pressure!!!!

Great location, loved that we could see and hear the ocean by simply walking into our own backyard, sunsets and bonfires in the back were lovely. There is beach access 2 doors down and at low tide we got a sand beach to enjoy. I do feel the home needs maintenance on a couple major things but otherwise, excellent. Additional street parking in this area was never a problem which was a plus.

We were 6 people, grandparents, parents, kids. Amazing view we all enjoyed. The kids played on the sand for hours with all the toys available. We made s’mores at night in the fire pit. Lots to do nearby- Wild Animal Safari Park, fishing, kayaking, boogie boarding and surf lessons.

Enjoyed this home, the ocean views, and the fire pit. Lots to do in Oceanside and Carlsbad. The home is clean and kitchen well outfitted.

Overall the property was nice, with great location especially to beach access, downtown restaurants and shops. The unit itself could use some general maintenance on little things. We felt the need to let the prop manager/ owner know so we would not be held responsible- which I’m sure gets annoying. Would have been great to have an emptied out fire pit but instead it was full of sand and left over wood so starting a fire or at least keeping it lit was near impossible unless we wanted to shovel out the pit…so s‘ mores night was short and sweet. The house was perfect for our group and had everything we needed for the beach. Directions for what we needed to do for checkout, trash day and reminders to move our cars on the days the sweep the street were very helpful. It was a lovely vacation.
