Rail view residency is very superb place very near to the railway station. It was very closer to the railway station. We went Alleppey to trivandrum it is very few steps to catch the train on morning 6.30 a.m. We dont want to catch the vehicle to railway station. It is very close to the station. We are 12 members. We all are so happy to travel.

The hospitality was good and people were friendly..the hotel is basically attached to kottayam stn ..so this made our onward rail journey to kottayam easy..the rooms don't have any view but are comfortable..

The shikara boat they advised was not good ..but the boating journey was very good..so next time u land in here check for the boat yourself before commiting.they use solar water heater..so you may not get proper hot water

The stay was comfortable almost.Food was available at nearest restaurant.The rent was affordable.

The staff is super helpful. The place offers extremely well value for money and the location is superb if you're traveling by train. It's walkable to the beach and the restaurant has very tasty food in the limited options set for the day. The rooms are clean and maintained well.

The location is terrible. At first we thought it was closed but you had to go through a muddy field to get to the rear entrance and the surroundings look like a war zone, The photos on booking.com do not give an accurate impression of this place. Only one working power point in the room. Does not accept international credit cards, had to take a rickshaw into Alleppey beach to find a working ATM in order to pay for the room. Will not be staying there again,
