This is an exceptionally nice apartment in a fantastic location. It’s close to the train station, and a huge new grocery store with a nice food court. A/C in both bedrooms and kitchen/living room is great, and necessary. The apartment has huge floor to ceiling windows on 2 sides, so the sun can heat the entire apartment. Everything you need is within a few blocks walking. It’s close to the bay front with all the restaurants and stores. On site, gated garage is a big bonus. A fantastic kitchen, with a washing machine and dishwasher. Appliances are good quality, beds comfortable, nice bathrooms. Very clean upon arrival. Fantastic hosts who were very helpful.

MINOR nitpicks, not complaints. The floor to ceiling glass windows are great, but they need a curtain facing the street side. Nobody can see in from the street, but you can see inside the upper floors of the neighbors windows across the street when they open their blinds. You have no way to block their view into the family room/ kitchen. It’s not a huge deal, but a simple fix is a sheer white curtain to give you some privacy. The sliding glass doors are HUGE, and heavy. They need lubrication in the humid, ocean environment. It took both of us the close the door near the kitchen.

Best location in Cascais, a few meters from high street shopping, a range of restaurants, the beach, the railway station, supermarkets and even a mall. Absolutely fabulous electronic infrastructure, big space, full of natural light.

Cleaning services are not included, even though we stayed two weeks. We had to pay separately to get it done.
