Lovely view from the Terrace, very friendly and welcoming staff, beautiful house and only a short (20min) walk along the lake into Kandy centre. Very accommodating staff.

The air conditioning was a little difficult to manage, couldn’t quite get it to a cool temperature which meant the room was a little stuffy.

Do udogodnień w pokoju nie mam żadnych uwag - wszystko było na wysokim poziomie, w łazience ciepła woda, łóżka czyste i wygodne. Również śniadanie, podane na tarasie z fajnym widokiem, bardzo dobre.

Miejsce aspiruje do ekskluzywnego hotelu, jako osoby podróżujące budżetowo czuliśmy się nieco niezręcznie, gdy zajmowała się nami czteroosobowa (w całości męska) obsługa. Nieprzyjemnym tego aspektem był fakt, że nasz kierowca nie został w ogóle wpuszczony do środka (podobno pierwszy raz go to spotkało). Kolejna wada to bardzo stromy i wąski dojazd.

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Frühstück europäisch und zusätzlich Sri Lanka, sehr gut. Schöne Villa am Stadtrand, Architektur toll.

WLAN im Zimmer schwach, auf dem Gemeinschaftsbalkon gut. Zimmer könnte etwas besser gepflegt werden. Tee zwischendurch wird angeboten und kostet extra.

Kingsman House is situated on a hill so you have a great view over Kandy. Everything is super clean and well maintained and the breakfast was very abundant and included next to a western style breakfast different freshly made Sri Lankan goods that we could try every day. On our day of departure we even got a wonderful breakfast to go, as we had to leave very early to take the train. The heart of Kingsman House however is definitely the staff. Every single one was super friendly and helpful. Out two year old daughter was always so happy to return to the hotel to play with „her friends“ as they made her feel so welcome and spoiled her with flowers every day. Thank you, Anthony, Issu, Hashan and Fernando!

We really liked that the hotel was close to the city centre but away from the chaos. Also the staff of the hotel is absolutely amazing! Super friendly and always there for us. Lastly, the view from Kingsman House was stunning!

Only the bathroom was a little tiny.

Hotel increíble! Es una antigua casa reformada preciosa y super limpia. Al llegar nos sirvieron el té en una terraza con vistas a la ciudad de Kandy. El personal es encantador, super amables y acogedores. Tuvimos un pequeño problema y lo solucionaron en seguida. También nos recomendaron un restaurante para cenar cerca del alojamiento con buena calidad-precio. Nos hubiese gustado quedarnos más tiempo disfrutando del hotel y sus vistas.

We loved this place! We stayed in the quadruple room with lake view, which we found to be large, with comfortable beds and up to date furnishings.  The property is beautiful, with multiple patios and spots to sit and enjoy tea. A delicious breakfast buffet was served on an outdoor patio. But the best part was the staff, Anthony and his team were gracious and very accommodating. They put together a small celebration for the guests on New Year's Eve, very thoughtful. While we were there, we needed to get our car repaired, and one of the staff actually took it himself to get it fixed. That was really above and beyond, and so appreciated! It's about a 25 minute walk or 10 minute tuk tuk ride into the center of Kandy. It's a little tough driving up the hill, but once you're there it's definitely worth it. We would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Kandy.

Wij hebben hier een onwijs fijn verblijf gehad. Het huis was erg mooi en schoon en de eigenaren waren erg behulpzaam. Bij het ontbijt kregen we vers fruit, eieren en toast. Wij waren in de avond vrij moe en wilden liever niet meer de deur uit. De eigenaar was zo lief om eten en een fles wijn voor ons te bestellen. Dit hebben we opgegeten op het balkon waarbij je erg mooi uitzicht hebt. Kortom, wij zouden hier zeker nogmaals verblijven

Het was wel eventjes lopen naar het centrum, maar dat was makkelijk op te lossen met een tuktuk

The property looks like a colonial house converted to a home stay. The room was very spacious with good bedding, hot water and Air conditioing. Staff was there to always help. Good balcony with a great view of the city. Breakfast was good with tea/coffee, fruits, bread with jam and butter and eggs of your choice.

The property has good views of the city, located at an elevation, so the roads leading to the property is a a bit narrow and slope, but has good parking on the property. internet was a bit slow inside the room, was fine in the lobby, could add extenders for better coverage inside the rooms.

The location is just wow ! This gives an astonishing view over kandy. View from the lobby alone is relaxing. Rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was above the expectation with delicious food. Highlight goes for the staff, very polite and efficient. Ravi, Chamil and one who served us (forgot his name) were very hospitable and went out of there way to make our stay memorable. Highly recommended!

Breakfast by the balcony was delicious. View was beautiful. Place was quiet. Rooms were very clean. They only offered breakfast but we had delivery ordered for dinner as we did not want to go outside.

The two staff in the guesthouse are extremely nice and friendly. We arrived late as the train was delayed. It was new moon festival and many restaurants were closed. They don’t cook dinner in the guesthouse but when we asked if they could order food, they did right away. It was very good Sri Lankan vegetarian food. We asked for Sri Lankan breakfast and the staff happily agreed to it. We were given afternoon tea without billing. The building itself is well-maintained and very clean. Its location is marvelous as it provides a view of Kandy and the lake. Since it’s a bit higher up, it’s quiet and we didn’t even switch on the AC.
