Property offers extensive outdoor fun for the entire family. Really nice pool area, bar-b-que/outdoor kitchen, patio, and pickle ball / basketball court. All the "toys" you need to enjoy your stay. Owner was easy to communicate with and genuinely responsive to our family's needs and wants. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning to this fabulous "Oceanside Paradise".

Our family truly enjoyed our stay at this house. Everyone loved swimming in the pool and enjoyed the yard. We ate all meals outdoors as the weather was perfect! Grocery stores are nearby and Legoland was a short drive away. The owners were super responsive and communication was excellent. We would definitely love to stay here again someday.

The home and location was five stars every way possible. The home, especially the backyard and ball court, was very pretty and well maintained. My family, which included five adults and two young children, stayed in the home for a full week and felt like we had plenty of space. The location was perfect as Target was only 5 minutes away and Harbor Beach about 15. The expansive backyard also provided a secluded resort feel which made for an excellent break from other busy areas we visited. Garage parking was also great. I would definitely recommend and plan to return.

This home has so much to offer! Pool, pickleball, basketball, outdoor space, grill with outdoor bar, patio and plenty of space for 10. Hosts are quick to respond to messages/questions. If you want to get away but stay out for a trip to southern CA? This place should be in your list.

Arrived to a spotless slice of paradise with nothing but top level communication pre arrival. House was easy to locate and enter. The “paradise” on the property is the outside get away. Early morning bird watching and grounding, mid day swims and pickleball challenges amongst the kids and evening barbecues and fireplace discussions made it very difficult to leave. Rooms were perfect for the kids and shared bathroom to their parents made it very convenient to provide them privacy. The master bedroom was roomy and provided a quiet space to wind down at night while the kids settled. We used the garage for one vehicle as well as the driveway and other visiting family utilized street parking with ease. John was easily accessible, accommodating and a gracious host. 100% would recommend this vacation property; just give yourself an extra day or two to “stay home” to enjoy it! Already miss it!

We had a great stay here. The house was spotless, the hosts were accommodating and the rear yard was phenomenal. The yard is mostly south facing for sunny enjoyment of the pool, the on deck games as well as the pickleball court.
We prefer to cook outdoors and the grill and burner work well for hanging outside and preparing casual meals. Grocery and shopping are nearby and convenient. This is a great property and a great option if you’re coming to Oceanside.

Family came in from out of town for the Christmas holiday. We had so much fun here! The house has a well stocked kitchen and the bedrooms were spacious. The only thing we struggled with a bit is seating--with 8 people the living area was a bit compact and we needed folding chairs for the dining table. Honestly though, if you're not spending most of your time outdoors on this property, what are you even doing? We played pickle ball and corn hole every day, had coffee, cocktails, and reading hours around the pool, and generally enjoyed the view. We would absolutely stay here again.

The home was perfect for our family Thanksgiving vacation. We appreciated the great communication with the owners. The backyard is absolutely gorgeous and we loved the pickleball court, pool, and heavenly views! The home was very clean and well stocked with all of the basics (and many extras). If we are ever in the area we would definitely stay here again!

Everything about the property was just amazing! The views were jaw dropping and the owners thought of everything we could have needed to have an amazing time! All the rooms were beautiful decorated and very comfortable. When we needed some help the owners responded right away and answered any questions we had. Definitely would love to stay again!

Since I am an owner of a VRBO home in Central America as well as a frequent VRBO guest around the U.S. I tend to be somewhat picky when staying at other folks homes. The hosts here go out of their way to insure an enjoyable stay. Grounds are impeccable as well as extremely private. The home was spotless inside and out and the hosts were very responsive and hospitable in every sense. I still miss the quiet mornings by the pool with all the bird life. 5 stars from me!!

This house is a vacationers dream. It has so many amenities outdoors that you don’t want to stay indoors. The outdoor kitchen with the grill is so wonderful. The games and the beautiful grounds made it so enjoyable for all of us, kids and adults alike. The house was perfect with comfortable beds. The only thing I would add is that you need to bring your own HDMI cord and Apple TV but honestly we didn’t really miss the TV since we were outside all day long. Silvia and John were amazing hosts. The fire pit was a wonderful bonus which we used daily. Overall, I would highly recommend this home and we will be back for sure.

From the second we arrived to the moment we left we had the most exceptional experience. A huge property with beautiful pool,grill,games,tennis court and fire pit to make this a most memorable holiday. John and Silvia have made the most beautiful holiday home and I truly hope we can return one day. Thank you very much to you both.

Our family was very impressed with all the amenities available (pool, tennis court, bean bag throw) so everyone had a fun time. Also the privacy and view was stunning. Would definitely like to stay there again in the future.

We spent Christmas and New years here and it was delightful. The pickleball and basketball provided hours of fun for all ages. The lawn is everything for a group/family gathering. Quiet, safe neighborhood less than 5 min to stores, grocer, restaurants .

We had a nice time. The grounds of this home are beautiful. Pickleball courts a plus. Two complaints, not really a sleeper of 10 as the pullout sofa is very dated and the mattress frame slants into center without any support. We had to pull mattress off of sofa and put on the floor for our kids to sleep. Although we were told that the pool was not heated. It is useless in the winter as the pool is freezing. The decor is a bit dated, with a little sprucing up though, this is a great rental.. The outdoors of the house are gorgeous and very well maintained, fun fir outdoor Barbeque and entertainment..

Our stay over Thanksgiving with family was amazing. The home is very spacious and has everything! The home and yard are very clean and extremely well taken care of. The owners have thought of everything and when we had any questions they were very quick to respond. We loved the pickle ball court and the neighborhood is beautiful. The home is very close to any shopping and not far from the ocean!

Property was perfect for a vacation rental, relaxing for the adults, lots to do for kids. I really enjoyed the outdoor kitchen area. Beautifully landscaped, pool was cool, would have been nice to have a hot tub to warm up after a dip in cooler weather. Great quiet location, close to Legoland, about 45 min to San Diego downtown, I would endorse this property, would stay there again in the future.

John and Silvia have done a wonderful job setting up the house to be immediately functional for your stay. The pictures are accurate - the house is comfortable and the outside area is incredible. Location is near several grocery stores, lots of restaurants and attractions. With such an incredible house we didn’t feel that we had to be out running around but when we did go out everything was close and convenient. John and Silvia are excellent hosts - this will absolutely be our go to rental when we are in San Diego.

John and Silvia went above and beyond anticipating all our needs & providing a wonderful space for our family to spend time together. The pool and pickle ball court were the highlights for us and we spent a lot of time enjoying those amenities. Everything about the stay was easy. The only downside was we came during a heat wave and the house lacks AC. It got pretty toasty inside during the day despite fans, so we spent even more time in the pool!

Amazing Property and Amenities
A group of us were staying in Oceanside for a family wedding so it was easier to stay in a home than 4 hotel rooms. But Silvia and John have made this more than a home, but a destination. The pool and pickle ball court kept the kids occupied and the various sitting areas (sun and shade) made it easy for the adults to relax. Their hospitality was tremendous - always checking to make sure we had everything we needed. The pictures online truly match the property. I would highly recommend staying here. Even our son who lives in the area was impressed with the location, ease of access to roads while still being quiet, and the amenities.

My experience here was amazing from the time I open my eyes drew back the curtains to see the beautiful pool ,beautiful grass ,beautiful setting outside waterfalls, birds chirping It was so serene. The property was very clean they left instructions how to for every single activity that there was to do on property. very professional , the owners were amazing they helped us with so much I definitely will book here again …

Amazing Getaway!
We loved our stay here! The draw for us was the beautiful yard. It was so relaxing to sit by the pool or play some of the many games like corn hole, paddle tennis, pickleball or basketball. The BBQ area with a built in fridge and gas burning fire table was an added bonus. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need. Communication with the host was easy and very helpful. We would love to stay here again!
