Plenty of room across 4 bedrooms and the home was beautiful and clean and very comfortable. Great location near downtown Carmel (walkable). Quiet and easy access to the highway.

I have stayed in MANY rentals before, but none have been like this. First of all, the management (Marco!) is thorough, professional, friendly, and highly communicative. The entire rental process was simple and accurate. The house itself is truly beautiful. Spotlessly clean, VERY well outfitted, and exactly as pictured in every photo. It's about a 20 minute walk down to the village, which is easy (even in the pouring rain we encountered). The house, despite its relative closeness to Highway 1, is absolutely quiet (and I hate road noise). Do not hesitate to rent this gorgeous home...you won't want to leave.

What an absolutely perfect house for all 6 of us. Perfect bedroom/bathroom set up. Gorgeous back yard. Perfectly furnished with a kitchen that had everything we needed. Thank you for allowing us to celebrate superbowl weekend in your lovely home.

The property and home were absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed the cleanliness, convenience of the in-home washer and dryer, and spacious layout which left each guest with their own personal space. The hosts were very communicative, which left us feeling well taken care of. The front gate was a little tricky because we had a big vehicle, but it wasn’t because of lack of direction on the owners part. The directions made sense once we experienced it firsthand. The only thing to be careful of is the door stops on the floor. If you’re not looking, it might be easy to stub your toes on them. I would definitely book again next time we go back to Carmel.

Highly recommended for a stay in Carmel

Our family had an outstanding visit. The property is very comfortable -- well-appointed and well-maintained -- and had everything we needed inside and outside to enjoy a family gathering. It is in a quiet neighborhood with a reasonable walk (+/- 20 minutes) to the core of Carmel. Check-in and check-out were easy and ownership did a fantastic job making us feel welcomed. We would absolutely stay again!

We enjoyed a wonderful week with our three children, their spouses and our 2 year old granddaughter! The house accommodated all of us with four bedrooms and 3 baths. A little bit of a walk into downtown Carmel, but doable. What could improve the property? A full length mirror, robes and better internet connection. Overall a great place to stay!

Perfect house for family of 4 couples and 2 babies. Location was perfect. Condition of home was exceptional.

Modern kitchen / upgraded amenities on a full size lot which is nicely fenced in. Property manager responsive and very helpful. Only note is that the separate ADU doesn’t have WiFi so while great for some separate space, it’s not the easiest to work from.

Beautiful home, comfortable for four couples.

The house was beautiful, spacious and well-appointed. The location was also terrific—a short walk to Carmel's shopping district and a short drive to other area sites. We would definitely stay here again for future family get togethers.

I highly recommend this home. It’s very nice, very well maintained and well appointed. Lots of big and little things are high quality. We enjoyed everything about it and every interaction with the team managing it was easy and pleasant. They are all very thoughtful. If being a short walk to town or the beach is important to you this may not be perfect for you (although you can walk to town and it is a pleasant walk). But it was perfect for four brothers on a golf outing and when we’re back we’ll book it again without a moment’s hesitation.

Two weeks before our stay we were informed we would have to vacate our home for two days for an unexpected construction event. I searched for a home that would take us-with our two dogs. We ended up staying at Casa Serena and it was WONDERFUL ! We left blistering Los Angeles temperatures and arrived in Carmel with a huge sigh of relief. My teenage son and his two friends did a UC Santa Cruz tour, my oldest son and his partner toured the Carmel Mission, and hiked and we all toured Monterey, the aquarium and Cannery Row-with the pooches ! The house was perfect for our group-everyone had their own private space and we gathered in the living room/dining room for meals and movies at the end of our days. It was truly a great and unexpected retreat for our family. We will definitely stay here again !

We just loved our stay here. We were in Carmel for a family vacation and the house had everything we wanted. 6 adults and 1 toddler. had plenty of space, the beds were so comfortable, and the yard was great for our grandson. Cant say enough about how great this house was. no complaints at all

We had an absolutely wonderful time. The house is beautiful. Sisters gathering from Maine, Massachusetts Georgia and LA. had the best gathering place. Our last night outside by the fireplace and preparing samores was memorable. Laughing, cooking and perfect togetherness in a gorgeous home.

Our group of 8 women traveled to Carmel for the Big Sur Marathon. This property was just perfect, within 5 minutes of everything. We shopped, ate downtown, went to the beach, visited Folktale winery....and raced Big Sur! The property had everything we needed and the beds/bedding were so cozy and comfy. Loved everything about our stay!

lovely house, well maintained with an enormous kitchen and big bedrooms. Unfortunately, we were there during the first wave of repeated atmospheric rivers that hit the west coast. So we lost power (as did half the town of Carmel) for much of one day. And the internet also went out (for another day) Having said all that, lots of indoor activities with my grandchildren and we were able to go into town frequently, especially for meals. just a heads up for travelers to Carmel: parking downtown can be VERY difficult so if you have dinner plans, go early. One lovely, sunny, windy day where we went to the beach. visited friends who lived close and went to a wonderful bruch at Clint Eastwood's place down by the water.

The house was great for our family weekend. Fully equipped. Nice bedrooms. Great outdoor area. Just a few minutes from downtown Carmel and Monterey. Would highly recommend and stay there again. Thanks!

Nice home, nice back yard and home was well stocked. Location is a bit close to the major highway and you can hear some road traffic when you are out back, but not too bad. You can walk to town, but it is a mile to the start of downtown and the walk is hilly. Had trouble operating the heat lamps in the back yard.

This is a great property. A little too far for my 88 year old father to walk into town so we drove. The previous guest had taken the garage remote with them. This made it ackward to unload and load luggage as well as groceries. We also had to park in the drive and one person would have to go into open the gate for everyone else. That being said it is beautiful and I recommend the property. Not sure why one needs to go to the rental office to get code information. Seems like that can be handled over the email communication.
