Nice property and very quiet location , close to restaurants if you want to go , but the kitchen has enough to prepare meals if you wanted to do that one evening and enjoy the deck . We sat on the dock and relaxed a few mornings and enjoyed the natural sounds of nature . The only issues we had was the AC not cooling very well in the master bed room it never dropped below 75 and the week was very cool temps outside so it could be an issue on hotter weeks .
The driveway is dirt which is not terrible but we have a SUV , if you had a lower sports car you may need to be careful. Coming in at night there are no lights due to the distance off the road and heavily wooded but it’s nice to not hear cars and loud noises. Again we enjoyed the week but the AC was an issue at night while sleeping we could tell it was not as cool as we would have liked it .

We stayed for 8 days and everything was amazing. Peaceful, clean, and comfy. Kids loved crabbing down on the dock using just a piece of rope and a chicken leg! Would go back in a heartbeat. Had a bit of trouble with the washing machine and Eric had someone out to fix it within a couple of hours. Fantastic time!

We enjoyed the marsh views, fishing and crabbing off the dock and enjoying long days spent with family and friends. Communication with host was great and he accommodated our request for additional overnight stay. Love, loved this location!

We didn’t want to leave. It was a relaxing stay. We saw dolphins daily, caught a shark and saw the deer on our daily walks.

A wonderful, private and serene home with the best views of the marsh I have ever seen. The boys stayed on the dock and fished all day (and most of the night) while the girls took advantage of the shopping in downtown Beaufort. The house is located a short drive from all the attractions and conveniences, but still seems far away from the hustle and bustle. We honestly can't wait to return!

I absolutely loved this property! The house was absolutely spotless! My favorite part was the view! I highly enjoyed waking up and drinking my coffee in the club chairs, watching the sunrise! The neighbors are quiet and nice. The dock was wonderful, and we spent a lot of time fishing! Would definitely book this place again!

From the driveway to the dock and everything in between, this place is excellent! So good we asked to stay one more day! The layout of the property was perfect for our boat and vehicles. The weather was fantastic - we can only thank God for that. The house was very inviting and spotless. Everything we needed was available. The beds were great, and none squeaked (our pet peeve). The water pressure was fantastic, so in every shower, you got a massage. The washer and dryer worked great! We were able to go home with all clean clothes. The dock area was perfect. Our boat fit nicely, and the marsh is just something you can't explain. Wonderful! The neighbors are very friendly.
The owner, Eric, was very easy to work with. He answered our questions within a reasonable amount of time. He shared a lot of information about where the best fishing spots were and even provided maps. The check-in and check-out requirements were easy and quick. We've stayed in MANY VRBO homes, and this is our top favorite. The location, house, dock, everything was great. We stayed 8 nights and left wanting to stay more. If you decide to choose this place, you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely beautiful. If you bring a boat a little tight at very low tide but had no problem 1 hr before/after if you’re careful. The house is beautiful and the view is spectacular. Very clean and comfortable. Owner is very easy to reach and super nice. We look forward to booking at this house again.

Owner super kind, welcoming and helpful. Home was just as described. Simply gorgeous with so much beautiful natural light due to the exterior walls being mostly glass!...interior tastefully simple with vaulted wood ceilings...looking out on the creek, marsh and woodland. Really a splendid experience. Hope to return soon!

This location was really beautiful. The dock and the view was awesome to wake up to. The house was clean and well maintained. It’s hidden away from the street so feels secluded. It was a really nice stay!

Lucy Creek Lodge is a very well appointed, very comfortable house in an absolutely beautiful location. Eric was very helpful in answering the few questions we had and made sure our stay was to our liking.
Unfortunately, we could not stay for our entire week, but that was due to tripical storm Idalia coming through.
We wouldn't hesitate to stay at Lucy Creek Lodge next time our vacation plans take us to Beaufort.

A perfect week of peacefulness and relaxation before heading to the hustle and bustle of Charleston. The views are spectacular and provided our outdoor dinners and morning sunrise coffee with the perfect setting! We hope to return!

It was a last minute decision for us to stay at this property while on our way from Hilton Head Island. Luckily the days we wanted were available. BOY, WHAT A GREAT DECISION WE MADE! This property is incredible! Eric was great and provided us all the info we needed promptly and accurately. The property was secluded, quiet and private without being far away from everything the low country has to offer. The cabin has a rustic feel with wonderful modern/updated accommodations .I can't say enough, except we shall return!!! Thanks Eric!

Great location, exceptionally clean and great communications from the host. This is a great house. Beaufort is just minutes away for sightseeing, shopping and restaurants.

There is no way to explain just how peaceful and relaxing this property is. You drive through the traffic in town and then turn off into Fiddler’s point. The short drive through the woods is enough to separate you from the hustle and bustle of town. Then you walk into the beautiful home with a wall full of windows facing the beautiful marsh. We spent hours on the porch and inside the dining area watching all the beautiful marsh birds. We also had a wonderful time catching crab and fishing. The owner provides everything you need to enjoy your stay while there. I highly recommend this beautiful home! We hope to stay again in the future.

Wonderful escape!
Eric's property was just lovely! It was tucked back in a secluded area making you think you were a million miles away, but you could easily get to Beaufort, Port Royal, and it's a very doable drive to Bluffton and Hilton Head. We toured the whole area but loved being able to come back to the peaceful retreat at the end of a busy day. Deer met us in the yard and driveway and my husband (the early riser) met a raccoon on the dock. It was a great weekend getaway! Thanks so much!

Wonderful Time With Family - Including Fishing & Crabbing On The Dock
My family throughly enjoyed our stay at Little Lucy Lodge! It was clean and just as the photos depicted it. We spent most of our time out on the dock fishing and crabbing. Note: if you normally lake fish, ditch your bobbers and use weights instead. If you need bait there is a bait shop in a little blue house driving east out 21, past the Walmart, and just before you get to the bridge over Cowen Creek. We also picked up bait for crabbing at Publix. We found more success with a rope and a net for crabbing than using a crab trap. Casting lines we only caught 2 edible fish (not to say that more were not out in the creek). We also caught a couple each: gar, stingrays, and sharks. You'll also want to be aware of the times of low and high tide. There are plenty of places to relax inside and outside of the house too. The main room can get a bit warm in the daytime compared to the other rooms, but you do feel the cool when entering it from the outside. My family would definitely consider staying in this home again!

Serenity on the salt marsh
Loved the views and serenity of the salt marsh! Very private and quiet. Convenient location to local attractions. House is charming with large porch. We all had a great time! Sweet low country experience.

Perfect stay
Beautiful property with everything 10 minutes away, however felt very private and secluded. Brought kayaks and used from the deep water dock. Golf course close by. We definitely would consider this property again when we come back.

Perfect house with a beautiful view. In a central location to many different beach areas and towns.
Great experience. Great communication with Eric. House very clean and had many amenities. We cooked in the house most of the week. The outdoor grill was an awesome addition along with all of the patio furniture. Plenty of towels and the washer and dryer if needed.
The location of the house was ideal to be able to travel to Chaeston, SC, Hilton Head and Savannah Georgia. The kids loved all of the outdoor space to run and play. They loved the dock and wanted to be out there most of the time.
Excellent experience, will highly recommend.

Perfect graduation weekend
My family was in town for my son's graduation at Parris Island. We had a wonderful stay. The home was exactly as listed. Well appointed kitchen. Eric kept in touch with us to make sure our stay was going well. Helpful hints were provided as well that came in handy during our stay. The bed was super comfortable and the home was very clean. Had a wonderful time with my parents. This property just keeps us coming back!
The weather was perfect and a few naps were had on the porch...the setting is perfect for such luxuries. The house is equipped with anything you need for cooking scrumptious fresh caught fish and relaxing and hanging out with family. Hopefully we will be able to return in the spring.

Peaceful, Well appoingted and close to everything!
My three sisters and I just spent a week here. The home is open, warm and very suitable for long or short stay. I so appreciated the cleanliness and how the kitchenware is all in excellent shape, making cooking a pleasure-not a horror. The dock is peaceful and a real bonus. You are immediately transported . Birds and water creatures abound. We were within driving distance to historic sites - we also hiked, kayaked and paddle boarded. And the town of Beaufort is very charming. The lulling sound of water is a soothing background. Thanks so much Eric for making our stay seamless. A wonderful destination and abode.

Amazing!!
My husband and I spent a week at this perfect gem. We hated to leave. The scenery is breathtaking and the porches...I can't say enough about enjoying the porches. The house has the most incredible views and accommodations. If your husband's like to fish, be prepared and bring a book! My husband lived out on the water. It was so nice being able to bring our little boaT and have our own dock. My husband caught over 100 fish this week just in this creek! We will definitely be back.

Fantastic Beaufort Water Rental
Tremendous opportunity to rent a great, private house on the water. House has plenty of room, is updated, and has lots of indoor and outdoor sitting space. We spent most of our stay during the day fishing on the dock and our nights on the outdoor porch overlooking the large yard and water. This house had everything we were looking for, especially an awesome master bath shower. When the word gets out, this place will be booked and hard to get into. Even at low tide there was plenty of water for fishing. Updated house, plenty of room, lots of indoor and outdoor sitting, on the water, very private, clean, and most things you will need provided. I highly recommend this place and will definitely try to go back.
