View was nice. That’s all.

DECIDED NOT TO STAY AT THE PROPERTY AFTER INSPECTION. WHY? - 1) Had arranged for linen to be provided. It smelt badly. Linen did NOT include towels. This was not indicated in the booking details. Remember - people don’t normally travel with towels unless backpacking. 2) Kitchen was not cleaned properly. Kitchen shelves still had sugar over them. Toaster still had bread crumbs over it. 3) Shower had excessive mold on tiles. Broken tiles were evident at base of shower. Hand written sign on floor of shower indicated that it was out of order and should not be used. Waste bin was still full of used tissues. 4) Bed pillow heavily stained - unhygienic. 5) Rubbish (bottles and cans) left lying at base of property wall. 6) Conflict in instructions provided as to where to pick up key, pick up linen, how to pay for linen. Owner was very casual about these details. 7) Property inspection by owner/agent appears to have been either minimal or non-existent. 8) Problems/defects with property should be rectified before rented out. 9) Travellers in adjacent (basement property) also not happy - property smelt, no toilet paper provided, rubbish left on ground beside their entrance door. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE PRESENTATION OF PROPERTY AS IT COULD HAVE BEEN A NICE STAY. MOVED TO A HOTEL AT OUR OWN ADDITIONAL EXPENSE.

The location of the house is just amazing! Waking up and having a coffee with the view of a cascade and the fjord is just extraordinary. You also have the possibility to take the boat of the owner and row on the fjord. The house was fully equipped with everything. The owner provided us with great tips for two hikes around which we did and which were stunning.

Very very nice view in the living room. Nice owner of the house. Easy to drive to Stryn downtown and briksdalsbre to see glacier, very nice view on the way.

Booking sent me an email saying that I need to pay to the company who manage the house, impairs immediately. But they sent me several emails before I arrive, telling me to pay within 5 days. I sent emails to them to double check the payment, nobody answered me. The house is a little bit old. But the old hand made decorations are unique.
