Overall our stay in this unit was very good. The communications I had with Romvari were excellent and if I needed anything they were immediately responsive. For example I thought the place needed placemats and some cleaning products and the rep brought them immediately. There is an issue with the sink drains in the bathrooms which they tried to resolve. The condo is comfortable to lounge in and the lanai has an amazing sunset view. The lanai furniture looks quite outdated. Though you are on the front of the condo complex to view the ocean, remember there is a street and beach area ahead of you so binoculars would be good to view whales. The bathrooms are fairly newly renovated. The kitchen has all the appliances but I felt that the dishware, glasses, cutlery and utensils were a bit sparse and some looked quite old and very outdated. The beds are very comfortable. The unit is accessed by going up one flight of stairs, and the hallway and entry to the apartment look quite shabby. This gave a poor first impression. The complex including the swimming pool are fine but very outdated and don't picture yourself lounging in a very luxurious type place. Thankfully beaches of Kihei and Wailua are nearby and those are great. Kihei is convenient for tourists with many nearby shopping and dining options. It is very touristic. One bonus is that 2 whale watching outfits leave from just across the street from the condo. We used Blue Water Rafting and I can recommend them.

The upstairs sink was clogged when I checked in. I let the PM know and it was never fixed during my stay.

This place is conveniently located, well appointed, comfortable and has an excellent view. We've been coming to Maui for 23 years and this place is by far the best VRBO or hotel we've ever stayed in.

What a great property location and phenomenal ocean view. We saw so many whales we lost count. Condo is well appointed, parking is reserved for the unit, and lots of beach chairs, umbrella and towels to use for excursions. We would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed this 2 bedroom Unit in the A area of Maui Kamaole. It has great views of the ocean and they provided beach chairs. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The balcony gets hot in the afternoons but provides a great view of the sunset! Hope to come again!

My husband and I were very pleased with this condo. It was beautiful, clean, and well equipped with kitchen and beach needs. We had a great experience with booking, checking in and checking out. The view was breathtaking and we enjoyed drinking coffee on porch for sunrise and taking photos from porch for sunset. We will definitely be booking here again. My daughter's wedding scheduled for August 26 in Lahaina was cancelled--my daughter and her fiance's hotel was evacuated, the rehearsal dinner was cancelled and the marriage certificate was presumably destroyed in the Lahaina fire. While I realize I had reserved a place in Kihei, south of the fires, the overwhelming message from local, state and national authorities as well as from tourism officials for the middle to end of of August was to not come to Maui or to at least reschedule the trip. Romvari refused to refund me even though this was an "Act of God" situation, and refused to consider a rescheduling of the booking, even though VRBO issued a statement saying "we expect that the host you booked with will provide you with a full reimbursement or an alternative resolution for the stay you were unable to complete." I didn't decide to cancel my reservation because I didn't want to come to Maui--I did so out of respect for all of the images of the devastation in western Maui and because again the message at that time was clear--do not come at this time. I'm deeply disappointed by my interactions and communication with Romvari and with their inflexibility in this extraordinary situation.

We also appreciated that the essentials were well stocked upon arrival and we did not immediately have to worry about what we don't have in the kitchen or the bathrooms.Although we never really had to reach out to Romvari, they did an excellent job of communicating with us and ensuring we had all the information we needed. The location of this condo was absolutely perfect. Situated in central Maui, it is only a short drive from all major attractions on the island. The condo was clean, spacious, and offered great views. It was the perfect place to stay in that it was affordable and felt like the nicest place you could stay that wasn't a lavish resort. I woukd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place on the islandnof Maui.

A-204 was very clean and was exactly as advertised. Beds were very comfortable and the beach is across the street and down a very little. Great view and very quiet area. Only problem is this will probably be our only time here. Would book again. Thanks

Property was in a great location. Walking distance to beaches, although we drove to a few others during our stay. This unit is in the best location on the property, right in front and no other building to block uiur view of the ocean. We didnt spend any time in the pools, didnt really even check them out. Unit was clean, well appointed, and comfortable. Having the beach chairs was an awesome perk!

We enjoyed the location and the view was amazing. We loved starting our mornings out on the balcony. There were a few issues, one with a bathroom sink and the other with the dishwasher. They came out quickly to fix.

Place was great, lots of living space stayed with my family of 5. The views of the ocean were beautiful. Short walk to the beach and stores/restaurants. Not too far from the north shore or west coast. The pools onsite the kids also enjoyed. Definitely recommend

The property was the perfect spot for a unforgettable couples ski trip. The location is very convenient to the gondola as well as all the shops and restaurants in downtown keystone. The view from the living room is amazing. The jacuzzi tub was a great way to undwind and relax after a day of skiing. I would highly recommend this property

We enjoyed our stay at the Maui Kamaole. The unit has been renovated recently, is very clean, and is located in a quiet location in Kihei. We could easily walk to both the Keawakapu Beach and to the Kamaole Beach Park III. We very much enjoyed watching the sunsets over the ocean from the lanai. We found Jessica (the property manager) to be responsive to any of our questions.

Easy check in process and property manager was very communicative. This was mostly a business so we didn’t do much cooking. I’m giving this stay 5 stars, it was a really great place. the host could really up their game if the provided coffee and creamers.

The property was very nice, great location for our needs. Only issue was the cable and internet went out in the downstairs bedroom on the second day. The condo was nice and we enjoyed the balcony views of the sunsets!

There are a couple of things that need to be addressed. 1. Time for a new dishwasher. Current one doesn't work well. 2. A few of the electrical outlets were not attached in the wall properly. We had to be carefull when plugging and unplugging cords into these outlets. 3. The Upstairs bathroom sink was slow to drain. None of these things are deal breakers but should be taken care of. We would consider staying here again on our next trip to Maui.

Very easy check-in process and good communication from Jessica. The place was very clean and updated. There were enough kitchen supplies and the provided beach chairs, mats, and coolers were much appreciated. But the best part of the unit was the patio. Wow, the pictures do not do the view justice! Sunsets were amazing, no need to even go across the street to the beach! Great location, can easily jump into Kihei town or down to the resorts at Wailea. 10/10, would definitely stay again!

Long story short, it’s a wonderful place to stay for someone like me and my family who were first time coming to Maui. Kihei is a great area regardless but the beach access, plenty of nearby parks for kids, dining options and the atmosphere in general are amazing. My family really enjoyed the ocean view from the patio. Small hiccups like sturdy door to the bedroom, dirty spatula left unwashed and clogged bathroom sink are not negative enough for my family from wanting to stay at this property when we are back to Maui next time.

It also doesn't clean dishes effectively--they need to be clean when they go into the dishwasher, or they don't come out clean at the end of the cycle.
