Perfect cosy place with everything you need. Bed and sofa were soo comfortable and the bath was amazing.

most perfect stay! badgers retreat was so comfortable. one of the best accommodations we have been to. cooking facilities were great, bed comfortable, the annexe retained heat very well and bathroom had a great shower and bath. the hosts provided cleaning products, shower products, towels etc. felt like a home from home!

For the price it was an incredibly nice and cosy annex guest house that was fully equiped with all you could need!

Can't really fault much except that we were unable to use the ps4 and there was no way to lock the bathroom door but those were the only two minor issues I can think of from what was otherwise exceptional

As in previous reviews, it's convenient, small, but has most things, and good value. The canal is great for flat walks. Knowing that it was called Badger's Retreat in the address would have made finding it initially easier.

We were surprised that a flat in Yorkshire didn't have a teapot - or we couldn't find it. The kitchen cabinet door handles are awful!

Lovely setting.Quiet set back from the road .Pretty plants on the terrace area.Field with horses opposite. Very cosy accommation .Very well equipped and high quality appliances. Comfy bed and modern tasteful bathroom. Very helpful hosts who were there to help with queries.

Quiet, pleasant surroundings near the canal, very comfortable bed and very clean. Secure car parking space.

No internal doors to bathroom or bedroom. Kitchen units difficult to open if any problems with hands e.g. arthritis.

Location was brilliant. The little cottage ticked all our boxes and more...

No door on the toilet...I appreciate room is tight but maybe a folding door !

TV, bed was comfortable.shower excellent

Bed was too lowdown. Couch had to be moved so it was Infront of the TV. I found it difficult to get comfortable and in the end I ended up bringing in a camp chair to sit on.
