Absolutely wonderful host - he was so friendly and helpful. Our son adored him! He provided great recommendations for lunch and dinner. The guesthouse is a beautiful, traditional house. Lovely and cool in the heat. Location was amazing - really close to the main shopping street and shrines, minutes from the ferry, but very quiet and peaceful Breakfast was plentiful and filling, with all of us well catered for including a toddler and vegetarian. Our favourite stay in Japan so far

Nothing - it was perfect

Magnifique endroit sur une île superbe! Nous avons était accueillis par notre charmant hôte qui nous a su répondre à toutes nos attentes et même au-delà. Tout était parfait, la chambre est spacieuse et comprend un petit jardin intérieur. La literie est très confortable et la chambre possède de nombreux équipements. Copieux et très bon petit-déjeuner.

町屋が綺麗にリノベーションされていて良い雰囲気を味わえました。真冬で木造なので少し寒かったですが、湯たんぽをもらったりストーブが効いていたりして快適に過ごせましたし、それも含めて町屋の滞在っぽくて楽しめました。朝食のスープとサンドイッチも美味しかったです。 オーナーの方の様々な心くばりもありがたかったです。特に深夜に夫が高熱を出して、電話したら夜分遅いのにも関わらず市販の解熱剤を持ってきていただきました。その節は本当に助かりました。ありがとうございました。

El sitio es súper chulo, está muy cuidado y tiene un encanto muy especial. El anfitrión es genial y muy atento, disfrutamos de un desayuno muy bueno. La camas eran gigantes y súper cómodas.

Fuimos en invierno, por lo que hacía bastante frío y al ser un ryokan no está bien aislado. Teníamos calefacción y nuestro anfitrión tuvo el gran detalle de prepararnos una bolsas de agua caliente que nos fueron estupendamente, pero para ir al baño hay que salir al exterior (aunque también había estufas en el baño). Estuvimos muy a gusto pero quizá lo hubiéramos disfrutado más con buen tiempo.

The property is a traditional Japanese house, typical of the Miyajima region. Beautifully preserved and with contemporary furniture that they managed to combine in an extraordinary way. The house is very small, so it has only one room, this makes you practically rented not a room, but the house complete with your own Japanese interior garden, its doors of Japanese paper, by the way very beautiful. They place incense, which gives it a very pleasant atmosphere. An extraordinary experience to rest in a Ryokan in a magical destination. Kousu Ke takes care of the property and was an extraordinary person, kind and very helpful. He solved a problem for me with the shipment of a package that he had lost at a destination prior to our arrival, and made sure I received it at my next destination. There cannot be a better host. The location is unbeatable, a couple of blocks from the main street. Walking to the bay took you through the little streets of traditional houses, and you could see the residents going about their daily lives.

Absolutely nothing. The place and the attention far exceeded my expectations. I work in a company where the attention is completely personalized. After this stay, I took away many lessons to learn about hospitality.

It’s the most beautiful hotel I’ve stayed in Japan. Decoration is beautiful and done with a lot of style. Staff is really helpful and friendly. The hotel has just one room, so you’ll be the only guest. I didn’t realise this before booking. I’m travelling solo, so it was a bit too much just for myself. But it will be perfect for couples or families. It has two huge king size beds. They provide nice drinks in the fridge in the room free of charge, including local beers. Location is perfect.

Because you’re the only guest they’ll ask you when you plan to arrive and when you go plan to go for dinner, and when you come back. You feel tracked down, but it’s ok.

Lovely and authentic place! You will be the only guest and have the house to yourself (only the owner is at your survive). The owner is very caring and a really nice gentleman. We loved it!
