The Gales was gorgeous and we’ll be back - so relaxing, nicer than the pictures and incredibly comfortable.

When we arrived, we were in heaven seeing the property. It was modern, so clean, and it had everything you could want to enjoy your time there. The decor was simple and the beds were super duper comfortable! The bonfire area and how close we were to the lake was spectacular! Tabitha was super quick responding to all our questions. We will return again!!

Everything was absolutely perfect. Couldn’t ask for a better location. Some solar lights on the steps leading to the lower fire pit would be nice. Would definitely stay here again and again.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Gales. There were 4 of us spending a girls weekend exploring the area. The house is perfectly located to allow you direct access to the water for swimming, kayaking, or paddleboarding, and to easily access the restaurants, shops, and walking trails / parks nearby. We loved everything about our stay - and used the kayaks to do a nice paddle up coast, the firepit for smores, and the house for spending time together. Truly a gem - hoping to come back!

This was our family's 3rd summer trip to Duluth and this was the best house experience by far! Lovely little rocky beach right at the house, and just down the road from a larger rocky beach. The house was SO clean and had absolutely everything we could have needed. Easy use of TVs, well-stocked kitchen supplies, tons of bedding and towels. Perfect mix of comfort and luxury. It was spot on and we're already looking forward to another stay!

Stayed for one week. The property is right off London road on the shore of Lake superior in the lake side neighborhood. Older kids got great use of the kayaks, the ship viewing was fantastic.

This property exceeded all expectations of our entire group! Fantastic location, amenities exceptional and the entire home was pristine! We wish we could have our coffee every morning on the deck over looking the lake.

This property was immaculately clean, gorgeous inside and out, and right on Lake Superior. The property managers have it well-stocked with everything you could possibly need, and are very helpful & friendly. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

A wonderful quick spring break getaway to this gorgeous remodeled property. Can’t say enough about how beautiful this home is, the atmosphere the cleanliness the location right on the water. Our stay was wonderful! The host was responsive and she also was accommodating our early check in request. We will definitely be staying here again in the future. Thank you!

We loved our stay at the Gales. The property is right on the water and has gorgeous views of Lake Superior. The home is beautifully furnished with lots of extras like welcome snacks and a carousel full of Keurig pods. The location is great for exploring Duluth and the North Shore. We would definitely come back!

Wonderful VRBO experience. Will return. Perfect for our family winter getaway! Excited to try again in summer to get the full lake experience! The cleanliness was unmatched and every amenity needed was available even KIDS cups and plates! We appreciated all the details!

What an outstanding view! An early check in request was accommodated with quick correspondence. We enjoyed the fire pit, rock beach, and board games. Also felt luxurious in the beds, blankets, shower, robes, and all the details. Fit our family of five perfectly. We also didn’t hear the renters above us. Traffic noise did greet us each morning. Would have given it 6 stars out of 5 if a king size bed and hot tub were available:) Hope we can return someday!

We were in town for a hockey tournament and this is soooo much nicer than a hotel. Beautiful view, comfortable beds, clean and nice furnishings.
After a couple hard hits the hockey player strode out for a nice cold plunge to rejuvenate the muscles!

Wonderful place to stay! We were even allowed to check in early. Enjoyed the lake views. Had drinks and smores by the campfire. Enjoyed the stone walls. Perfect spot for a girls getaway with friends.

Nothing more relaxing that than the waves crashing along Lake Superior in the fall. The property was fully stocked and set up in a way to enjoy the water.

Beautiful property with outdoor spaces for everyone in our family. The house is only a 3 block walk to Lester Park for a nice hiking spot. This property is also walking distance to a grocery store. We loved our time here! Property manager is excellent to work with!

Newly renovated and beautiful property on Lake Superior. Best place we’ve stayed on the North Shore. Great location to access state parks as well as Duluth attractions and restaurants.
