This is our go to place when we come to Greenville. Very clean. The beds are comfortable and the home has everything you need.

Absolutely LOVED staying here. The house is so cute, nicely decorated and has everything you could ever need. The backyard and front porch are so cute. Walking distance to downtown and campus. Cassondra was extremely detailed in her communications and was a wonderful host. We will try to stay here every time we visit Greenville. Highly highly recommend staying here!! Easily the best place to stay in town.

absolute perfection for 5 friends re-connecting from grad school which was 20 years ago! one of the best VRBO homes I have stayed in. proximity to ECU campus, downtown, shops, restaurants, bars could not have been closer. I never used my car during the 4 day stay. we did not mind the proximity to ECU student/Greek housing either, but other guests may need to consider this ;)

We loved staying at the Pirates Hide Away! It is our 2nd time staying here, and we will definitely stay again in the future. The house is only 1 mile to our Son's house, which made it very convenient for us getting him settled in for his Senior year at ECU and for celebrating his 22nd Birthday! We look forward to our next stay!

Great space. We enjoyed our visit. The house was in a good location. Very clean house.

Overall this was a good experience. The pros are the place is very clean, they provided a lot of items in the kitchen such as coffee and a little ice maker and the kitchen was well stocked with items needed. Also the rooms were larger and all had ceiling fans. Bathrooms have nicer towels, shampoo and soap dispensers on the shower walls, and even makeup towels. The AC worked well though it did go out the second night and they promptly had a repair person over on Saturday morning and quickly fixed the issue. I appreciate the quick responsiveness of the owners. The areas of improvement that would make it exceptional were the grass outside was very high and as a result there were a lot of mosquitos in the yard which made sitting outside challenging. There was also a neighbor throwing a party which was louder but still to be a little expected in a college town. Many of the door knobs in the place come loose to the rooms as they are very old doors and knobs and could be tightened and resolved. The final item to note is there are cameras stated in the listing. They do not create a super inviting feeling to want to sit outside and enjoy the nice porch and area. I understand the need for protection but it makes the experience of being outside less comfortable from a privacy and conversation aspect. Overall I do highly recommend if you need a place in Greenville to stay!

For sure, once you stay here, you will want to book it again, if ever in GVL. House was so spacious, well equipped, and a stone's throw walk to Uptown eateries Host was super responsive. Perfection!

We enjoyed our stay. The host was very easy to communicate with and check-in was simple. The space was fine for the five of us. The outdoor seating was a wonderful bonus. We enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants. Great choice!

My family stayed at The Pirates Hide Away for an ECU graduation. It is a very comfortable and beautifully appointed house within walking distance to the school, restaurants and town. The host was very responsive and everything we needed was available.

Beautiful home, decorated with care, high quality bedding and linens, equipped with everything you could need. Lovely back deck area and good parking. Walkable to the University and wonderful coffee shops, restaurants and boutiques. Loved our stay.

This property was exactly as listed. It was the perfect place to stay for our daughter's ECU graduation. Comfortable (the most comfortable beds of any VRBO we've stayed at), clean, charming and convenient.

We have stayed here a couple of times when visiting our daughter at ECU. Great location to Uptown and campus. Fully equipped kitchen for home cooked meals.

The bungalow was clean, well layer out and fully appointed. The location is ideal for a walk to campus, to free-boot Friday, to the game shuttle, to many restaurants and bars. We couldn’t have been more pleased (other than the Pirates losing the game :-) and will happily stay here again,

Everything was easy and great!

The house is newly remodeled and full of style. The outdoor patio gives a place to slow down and relax with family. The location was perfect to walk around town and the local restaurants.

We loved our stay here. My kids loved that we could go walk to dinner and to the park. Such a perfect location. 0 issues amazing communication from host.

My daughter commented that this is probably the nicest place to stay in downtown Greenville. We where within walking distance of places to eat and drink and if your their to visit someone at ECU you are right next door. Will try to stay here again when we visit next.
