Spacious, it was clean and tidy. Nice location
Few things needs to be repaired, replaced.

The room was small but well presented. The location of the room was ideal for the carnival, and the location was close to the city centre.
Issue with the bedding - as it had been freshly made, the quilt was still damp from coming out of the dryer - this was easily changed.
Didn't like the placing of kettle n TV close together, and the bed frame felt a little wobbly. I just needed screws tightening. Didn't like the coding system for room entry but that was minor.

Very clean spacious room. Couple of minutes from the train station and the town centre.
It's on a busy road

The one good thing was the very kind lady who helped by phone, when we had a problem with access on arrival. But the red flag was when she told me not to say the door code loudly to my partner, as I was relaying it to him over the phone 'in case someone else hears it'. Those were her exact words!!!
Oh, and there's an exceptionally good Indian restaurant opposite, the Mumbai Inn.
Felt unsafe, paper thin walls, very noisy comings and goings overnight. The stairwell and general area smelled of cannabis and was musty and damp. Someone set the fire alarm off overnight. Twice. Quite scary. There were broken things like the loo roll holder, no wardrobe door, no hangers, broken blind, shower gel not fresh, bed lumpy and overall the room was filthy, for which there really is no excuse. I would rather have slept in the car than stay another night here.

Just a simple bed and bathroom but didn’t need much more. Lovely presented and found it very good value for money. Check in was very easy. I was so impressed there was even a TV!
I loved the location as we were a short walk from the centre but parking was a nightmare and there was some road traffic noise but I guess that was expected.

Great value for money, clean and good location.

Nothing.
Room was leaking water from the roof.

THE LOCATION IS PERFECT. VALUE FOR MONEY. ROOM WAS CLEAN. BEDDING WAS CLEAN. GETTING IN AND OUT WAS HASSLE FREE. COMMUNICATION WAS GOOD WITH THE STAFF. EASY TO UNDERSTAND DIRECTIONS. LOVED THE COFFEE MIX, MIGHT GET ONE FOR MY PERSONAL USE.
THE TRASH BIN IN KITCHEN WAS ATTRACTING FLIES. IT COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER IF THE TRASH HAD A CLOSED LID MAY BE.

Check in was move backwards. That was awesome
Everything. Dirty environment, dirty room, hot room not even a fan. I will NEVER recommend for anyone. It’s a waste of money.

Situated very close to the train station, many restaurants and local shops, made the stay very enjoyable
Windows were too close to the bed
Also there was no lift

In a really good location for the train station and Victoria Park. Check-in was painless, they send a code for the front door and your key is in a lock box. Clean towels provide don bed and there is a good bit of desk space. I didn't use the kitchen but it looked well maintained and perfectly fine.
There was a lot of dust, including a thick layer of dust under the bed, but otherwise cleanliness was okay. The bed sheet was very worn and looked like it should've been replaced a few years ago. The light in the bathroom flicked and flashed for a few minutes before coming on. The window blinds also need replacing as half are now missing, I had to use one of the towels to block out the light. There were quite severe water marks on the ceiling. Quite disappointing.

I liked the close proximity of the property to the city centre which made it easy to connect with local transport and attractions.
I had a problem with the cleanliness of the property with cobwebs in the bathroom and a layer of dust on the kettle. I observed strands of hair on the carpet and the room was leaking from the roof. On my first night there was a continuous water drip sound in the night which percolated and started dropping to the floor. I had to put down one of the towels to prevent the drip hitting the floor.

Close to De Montfort Hall
Lots of nearby places to eat.
That's it.
It's a disgrace that booking.com allow places like this to still advertise on their site after all the negative reviews.
I had e mailed the owners days before arrival to confirm how I check in. No reply. I had to phone on arrival to ask where exactly it was and how to get in. They asked me to send them via email some identification, which I did not have but eventually they gave me the code to get in. There is no sign on the building whatsoever to tell you where it is.
False advertising makes you think you are getting an apartment with your own kitchen. But it is a shared kitchen, and not a very pleasant one. This is stated in their description if you scroll right to the bottom, but the photos do lead you to falsely believe you have your own kitchen.
The actual room was tiny. A double bed which you could only get in one side. Scraps of material for a blind ( hanging toilet paper across the window would be just as effective). Old table chair and a cheap wardrobe fill the rest of the room. Even being situated on the third floor you can hear the traffic and the drunk people down below until the early hours. The bathroom was also tiny. Once in there with the door closed You could barely turn around, squeezing past the sink to get to the toilet or the shower. I'm not joking. The dirt around the mattress on the slats of the bed, clearly visible, was totally disgusting. Really think the cleaner just doesn't care. I think there were some longer term residents there regularly cooking and the whole top floor stunk of curry and not in a nice way. There was more things that were sub standard but I can't be bothered to list it all. I was booked in for two nights, but as soon as the gig finished on the second night I drove home rather than sleep in this room one more night.
I wish I had taken more photos.
I have since added photos of the side of the bed in response to the owners outrage at calling it disgusting.

Filthy
Not clean and host argue on phone not like been told truth

nothing
This is an absolute dump. There's nothing De Luxe about it, and it isn't an apart hotel, which has facilities. This is an abomination of what the building used to be, constructed by cowboys with no budget, judging by the surroundings. Stay here if you have no taste or sensibilities.

We liked the room and how it was decorated and the bed was very comfortable.
That the bathroom wasn't very clean the bodywash and handsoap provided were near enough empty the bathroom wasn't very clean ,the towels provided were very damp and there was alof of dust under the bed which set off my partner's hayfever allergies.
Also there wasnt a remote in the room and the one provided after we asked for one didn't work.
Other than that it was a very nice room and we would stay again I just would appreciate it if your cleaners can make more of an effort ,thank you

Return visitor - in Leicester for work so the location is perfect. A very basic place without any luxury but for the price it is good. Clean, safe and easy to get to
The blinds in the room were really bad, almost not worth having them - I had to use a blanket to cover up the main window to keep the light out! Also no milk available and towels were very thin.

The location was central and the city centre was a short walk away.
It was not as advertised. It was advertised as an entire apartment on booking.com, but upon arrival I found that this was very much not the case. The room was just that - an extremely small room with one double bed in shared accommodation. The room we had was nothing like what is pictured on the website. The ensuite bathroom was an incredibly small room with just enough space for a small sink, a toilet, and a shower. There were no table lamps or decor, other than a plastic plant in a polystyrene pot. There were also cobwebs around the room, and stains on the wall. The kitchen was not very clean or tidy either. I specifically booked this "apartment" because I wanted to be able to have a whole apartment with a kitchen that I could cook in. However, the kitchen was a communal space and, furthermore, there were no pots and pains available for guests to use. One of the resident tenants kindly let me use hers, but this is far from ideal. If I hadn't wanted a kitchen, I would have booked a far cheaper, and cleaner, hotel room. I would not recommend, and will not book again.
