Not enough food variety

Lobby: Looks outdated, kind different from the rest of the hotel facilities, no music, no visible bar, chairs and tables are dirty and old, no TVs (just a projector}, not welcoming comparing other hotels. The hotel administration should put attention to it. Room: The sofa fits small people, I am 6' and do not fit in, you may need to ask for an additional bed. Food and drinks are good/excellent. Overall great hotel and location.

Great place to stay and relax, very family and kids friendly, the staff was very very friendly and professional, always ready to help and fulfill expectations, the two restaurants they have are 10/10, the food is really good.

It was nice place. It is a little antiquated and there were a lot of gnats in my bathroom but it was a comfortable stay.

Really liked this hotel, and all the staff is very nice and friendly! The food was good too! We got all inclusive and we did not have to pay for anything! Gratitud is at your own discretion! Would definitely stay here again!

The grounds of the property are beautiful. Staff was very friendly. Rooms and common areas kept clean. Always able to find chairs at pool. Restaurants were consistent. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

If given the option, my overall rating would be 4.5.stars.I stayed three nights in a rented condo and two nights all-inclusive at the resort. This review pertains to the hotel stay only. Overall it was one of my favorite places to stay thus far in Vallarta. The staff , sans one, was absolutely fantastic. Special recognition to Eddie at concierge, who each day greeted me by name and offered his assistance and Jesus at the front desk, who placed me in a very nice suite. Vellas is an older property but is being maintained very well. The property is rich with tropical foliage. The suite was very nice and very well appointed with a fully stocked refrigerator (replenished daily) and a variety of snacks. The all-inclusive package includes your choice of two restaurants as well as room service. One restaurant, La Ribera is the casual option located beach-and-poolside while the other, Andrea, is mid-property and is described as their gourmet dining option; reservations only. The only reason Vellas fell short of a five-star rating was the limited choice of food options, taste, preparation and quality as a couple of meals that fell short of expectations. However, the nightly dining at Andrea was very nice. Special recognition to the foster and son duo of Julio and Julio Jr. (JJ) who made the dining experience amazing. If only Vellas had one or two additional restaurants/dining options and improved the food experience at La Ribera, this would have significantly enhanced my experience.
