We went to the baseball game and this hotel is conveniently located close to the stadium, but a couple blocks for the main Battery area. We did not need a car, as everything was walkable with many dining and entertainment options.

Had a great stay. Front desk staff very helpful, easy check in, loved our suite. Great location for us to be at The Battery and walk to the Braves game. Would definitely recommend the Doubletree!

Weird stay. At 10am (one hour before checkout) housekeeping kept knocking repeatedly on the door until I finally got up and opened and they just walked away and said they’ll come back later…? (No internal checkout checklist??) During check in I was not told anything about my included resort credit. After investigating I was told the resort credit could not be used for parking nor breakfast, just amenities..? Amenities that are included in the stay anyways. Super confused about that. You’d think at $400 a night and being a Hilton honors member I’d at least would get breakfast or parking. When I checked out at 11am through my Hilton honors app and left the lobby, their concierge chased me down on the sidewalk to inquire about my checkout. I was so embarrassed in front of other guests. I let him know I had already completed the checkout through the app and he seemed puzzled. Any doubletree hotel Ive ever stayed in would offer cookies on arrival. I didn’t at this property, in fact I inquired about it because I have always enjoyed this special service, and I was just told that they’re on the desk in a box at the front office. When I grabbed one they were gluten-free packed up generic cookies. Not that this is a big deal but I always thought that was a nice service detail. Just not a valued stay for me at all. I could’ve went down the street to another hotel and stayed for half the price without all this nonsense.

Love the convenience of this property. It is a little older but seems to be well maintained. The staff was very nice and courteous.

Overall very nice, but there was no hot water for a few hours, cold shower was not fun. Called the desk and got out on hold till I gave up. The door knob jammed often and was very difficult to operate.

Overnight stay in Atlanta for a training clinic. Hotel staff was extra friendly and helpful. Room was clean and beds super comfy. Couch could stand to be replaced. Fridge could also be replaced. But overall a nice experience.

The staff here made it such an amazing stay! They were amazing, made my girlfriend’s birthday great! Everyone was so friendly, outgoing and willing to help out! One of the receptionists even sang happy birthday to my girlfriend! Huge shout out to the staff!!

First, the lady at checkout was amazing. Check-in is a different story. I could not hear the girl, I could not understand the girl, and she refused to speak-up even after I told her I couldn't hear her. I'm not hard of hearing. There was extreme water damage and what looked like mold at the carpet and baseboards on the 6th floor. The room was very nice, and bed and pillows comfortable. I don't know why they list parking as an amenity. There is a shared parking garage that I assume they don't own that charged $50 for 17 hours. All in all it is not what I expect from a Hilton property. In all sincerity 5 out of 5 stars to the lady at checkout. Overall for the stay 3 stars at best.

My family recently stayed at this "4-star" rated hotel in Atlanta Georgia. It was one of the worst hotels and experiences we've had. I would rate this hotel at 1.5 starts max. We walked into our 8th floor room and immediately saw a dead cockroach in the bathroom. The bathroom itself was a nightmare. Broken ceiling light which did not work, a huge crack in the shower floor, mold and areas needing a major caulk job including the bottom of the toilet area. The room had chunks of baseboard missing, falling paint, a broken curtain, and deep scratches in walls in some locations. We arrived late in the evening after a long day of sports and it was too late to book another hotel. The entire hotel needs fresh paint and deep, deep cleaning: the hallways carpets in dire need of replacement on every floor. Their only option for breakfast was a pathetic $18 buffet -- no other options for small children or elderly adults not wishing for platefuls. While the outside of the building seems impressive from afar, your inspectors must be blind. We usually value the ratings, and can't believe we thought this would be a pleasant stay and accommodations. This wasn't the fault of the staff at the hotel. They were lovely and did what they could, but the hotel itself is falling apart. We won't be staying there again.
