Property is old and outdated. Common spaces have been remodeled, but rooms have not. Beds are Very comfortable. View to the marina is a must. Very Good location.

Overall I enjoyed my stay. I would have given 5 stars for overall stay, but there was construction work going on throughout the day and night on the marina. It was a bit noisy, but I will definitely come back. The staff were wonderful and my room was nice and clean.

Great location and staff. Handing out fresh cookies was a nice touch. Parking is pricey, and free parking across from the hotel, is sketchy. The room didnt have a body soap dispenser, and the sink handle came off.

For the most part my stay was good. I had a Marina View on the ground floor and the sliding door would not open. The exterior doors to access building 3 would not open with key card. I will return because I like the view.

When I made my reservation I requested with Marina Water view but when checked in there was an extra fee for that type of room, didn’t show on their system.
They gave me a far away room with level of security very low.
I ended up leaving two days before.

We frequent the Bay Area with my medically complex child being hospitalized frequently. This hotel offers a peaceful break from the hospital so that I can regroup, sleep and prepare for the long days at the hospital. The atmosphere is free of ruckus, the scenery is pleasant and the staff has always been friendly and helpful!

Nothing like the picture you see. As a diamond member, I booked last min here and was told I got no diamond member benefits. Few of the staff are super nice and chilled.

That was horrible when we check in the lady in the front desk tell us that we have a free breakfast in the morning between 6 AM to 10 AM. We went down to have breakfast and they tell us that they were a mistake that they will make that we don’t have any breakfast included because we book for Hotels.com then we looking for the room for like an hour the set up of the hotel. It’s so confused when you go back to the front desk and ask for help they don’t help you. They try to explain how is it then the hotel went out for like four hours without water and I had to take a shower in the pool. That was a horrible thing in this hotel.

Old run down hotel. They charge for everything. $30 for self parking. They say it’s a 3rd party with better security but they still won’t take responsibility if your car gets broken into. Careful not to take the water bottles in the room because they even charge for that. Check in was very unhelpful when an issue came up with my reservation through hotels.com. They immediately just blamed hotels.com and said to take it up with them. They didn’t even try to help, just immediately deflect the blame. I don’t care whose fault it was, I just needed the rooms I booked. I would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.

At check-in the cashier handed me the room keys with no explanation or map of directions. The place is big.
It was a beautiful day. The hotel is in a beautiful spot. The view and grounds are lovely. The room was nice. The patio was nice.
$40.00 a day for parking is a bit much.

Old room. No mirror to accommodate multiple people getting ready especially a family. Check in staff unusually unfriendly. Night staff quick to clean up cushions and turn off fireplaces at 9 o’clock on a Friday and Saturday night. Our family has gone there for the last five years, and I was appalled at the service this year and questioning any repeat visits.

Disappointing surprise when first night charged $170 and second night charged $189. When I asked for an explanation I was told the rate fluctuates based on demand. Different days have different rates. This is not what I made a reservation for.

The front desk staff were incredibly rude, and they misled me about my room. I booked a room with one queen bed, but they put me in a double room with two beds instead. On top of that, I was surprised to find out I have to pay $4.99 for WiFi, which I don’t agree with. There’s no free WiFi, and I even have to pay for parking if I don’t eat at the hotel. The whole experience has been very frustrating.

The room was surface clean. The staff was …there. lol. I was severely overcharged for some snack items and then was told I was “not forced to buy them”when I questioned the charges and crazy taxes added after the charges. My friend got two small snack bags of chips and three starbursts and two candy bars and it was over $40. I paid extra for a balcony room and then had to pay an additional fee when checking in for that balcony room I already paid for. I was told “it is only a $25 charge”. It makes me wonder that if it is “only $25”, then why charge it in the first place.
Also, you have to pay $5 to “upgrade” the Wi-Fi they say they have provided for the room that is already over $200. lol
The view is spectacular though.

It was great until 2am when a man in the room above us started screaming about having war and throwing things and stomping and hitting the wall from what it sounded like, to the point where we had to call the front office to send someone to check on him, but other than that it was a great stay

I usually stay at Doubletree’s down in the Bay Area when I visit my friends and I’ve been to this one before and it was very comfortable. However, the last trip I didn’t get any sleep. The bed was rockhard and it felt like they had a subpar or secondhand mattress on it, which is crazy because they are known for their soft mattresses. Then the air conditioner didn’t work and of course I was by myself and didn’t feel comfortable leaving the door open so I had to wake up every two hours or so to open the door because it was so hot inside. There was also noise in the parking lot Throughout the night

The staff was courteous. The room was very nice. The building numbers confused me. The warm cookie 🍪 was a real plus. Parking is a little expensive. Only real issue was there was no hot water at night and no one to fix it til morning and ice machine was broken as well. But those were minor and i would recommend the facilities.

Stayed here for work. Hotel staff was friendly and the bar tenders were great. Had a little trouble getting service when I was at breakfast during the mornings, but it was a good experience

Description on hotels.com painted a picture of newly renovated rooms. That is misleading. While it may be true that there are renovated rooms, the one I stayed in was quite dated as was the wing where the room was located.
Check in was so-so. Not especially rude, but definitely lacking enthusiasm. I also requested extra towels, but ended up finagling some from the cleaning lady who happened to be down the hall.
This was not an extended stay so the cons are not a big deal to me.
But I will think twice before booking here again.
